The food was good. High quality ingredients and friendly staff. Classic Mongolian style choose your own bowl they cook in front of you etc. They also give you a free dumpling, tempura chips, soup and cup of rice. It’s hard to beat that kind of offering for 16.50 plus all you can eat noodles. I was a bit confused on what sauce to add but that’s on me because they have a sign with recommendations. The people were nice and the joint was clean. Not the best noodles I’ve ever tasted but well worth the money.

I literally drive 2 hours just to come eat at this restaurant & this is the location closest to me. Tbh my 1st experience here wasn't the best but I decided to take a chance & this time was a complete 180 turnaround! I've never had such amazing, fresh noodles! They really do make ALL the difference! The staff was friendly this time as well. I can't wait to come back again soon!

Omg I love this place. They are so helpful. They answer all the questions we have had. The first time we came here awhile back, they have always made us feel welcome. The atmosphere is always welcoming. The moment we walk through the door, they welcome us and are all smiles. I have seen them clean of the grill for people who have allergies. They provide welcome customer service. The staff are on the ball when it comes customer service. They check on how we are doing several time throughout the meal. If we need refills they would get them before we even ask. This place has become my husband's and mine new favorite spot to go to for lunch or dinner. The prices aren't bad either. It is a great date spot because of the fun atmosphere and welcoming presence. 10 out 10 I recommend.

By default i came, (only place that was open after 7:30 ?) Pretty good actually. You choose your ingredients and pass the bowl over to the cook. Its all made on a grill.? Good if your looking for noodles and grilled meats.

My husband and I decided to stop by here for lunch. We never went in before so did not know how it worked. As soon as we walked into the building, it seemed lifeless. I did read reviews prior to going there saying the food is great, and the service is great. That is not what we experienced. When we walked in there was not one customer or one employee insight. We stood there for a good 5 to 7 minutes, waiting for someone to come out then an employee came out from the back on his cell phone. He did not hang up until he was about 4 feet away and looked like he was not interested in even being there. He briefly explained what to do and walked away again. My husband and I do not get much time for just us. I was very disappointed. I wanted a better atmosphere so we walked out and did not have lunch there. I’m hoping one day we can go and try again. I know they say the food is amazing.

I don’t get to Sonora very often but now that I have found G K I will be sure to stop in at least once per visit. The food is good. The service is good. The location is good. I feel there should be more cleaning on the food line. Serve yourself an always messy but cleanliness is a must. There was only one server and she was quite busy but was doing a good job serving, checking on customers, cashing people out and busing tables. All this with a smile and great attitude. If the restaurant has a manager they should help where needed. Let’s not leave out pricing. It’s very reasonable considering all you get. Three different appetizers with more choices available. G K Mongolian BBQ is a great place to eat and an asset to a the food community in Sonora. “If you didn’t like it, it’s not their fault”.

Not a good concept, just precook the food and put it out on the buffet, the whole cold raw food on the buffet when you walk in is just unappealing
