On a day trip down 49 from Sutter Creek we stumbled into Goodness Cafe mostly because we could bring our dog to the outside dinning area. What a fabulous place. So many choices. This is a delightful place with a wonderful staff. Our sandwiches were delicious. Can’t wait to try their empanadas. This is a treasure in Sonora. We will be back. Mike and Elizabeth and Annie the Border Collie!

We were strolling Sonora looking for a bite and a coffee and stepped into Goodness Cafe. Everyone we interacted with was very nice. We shared a bacon breakfast burrito and it was very good, I really didn’t like the salsa that came with it, it was not spicy and tasted mostly like a tomato. This was the best espresso I had on our trip my latte was great, they gave my boyfriend the wrong drink but corrected it for free without us even asking. I would absolutely comeback for the breakfast burrito, coffee, and wonderful service. It’s a nice place to sit and relax.

I can’t say enough good things about this coffee shop. The coffee itself is fantastic, smooth, rich, and always perfectly brewed, but what truly makes this place special is the people. Goodness Cafe has a new location closer to the more frequented part of North Washington. The new location is nice with a patio area in the back. The food and staff are better than ever with new items on the menu. I had a dynamite chicken sandwich that deserved a more exciting name.

Just visited this coffee in their new location in downtown Sonora, the atmosphere and service was great, coffee from El Salvador that they import directly and good food. I had the mushroom empanada and a scone and both were great.

I was told about a bakery in Sonora, I thought I found it when I pulled in the parking lot. As I got out of the car a banner hit me like a lightning bolt. PAPUSA. i turned around to look at my wife with excitement and yelled PAPUSA!! She was even excited for me. We didn't know what to expect so we went in this little darling Cafe, and was greeted by this delightful young lady. I asked PAPUSA? she warmly replied yes. And the love affair started. We ordered 6 pork and cheese. Do I need to say more. Well we came back again and again and again since. The papusa are made fresh to order and that are amazing in every way.
