I placed a special order with Simply Delish for my mother’s 82nd birthday, and it exceeded every expectation. Three different family members independently said it was the best cake they’ve ever had.
We ordered a white cake with custard filling and their specialty frosting. The cake was incredibly moist, and what we loved most was that it wasn’t overly sweet, perfectly balanced and truly delicious. Simply Delish absolutely nailed it.
Sorry I didn’t get a better picture, but the cake was beautiful and decorated with fresh fall-colored flowers, exactly as I had requested.
Vonnie, the owner, was wonderful to work with, so kind, responsive, and easy throughout the entire process. You can really tell this is handcrafted with care and pride.

Would have loved to give a full 5 stars but I didn’t even get the cake I wanted. I wanted one for my wedding with no decor on it. I specifically asked for nothing to be added to the cake itself. I have a family topper I wanted to use for my cake with burgundy flowers. But when I received it, it already had orange flowers on top and on the side. I tried to remove them but it messed up the frosting and ruined the look I was going for. Didn't get to join my family wedding tradition. The cake was good but I wish I was able to have that bit of happiness in my small wedding. I think I'll make my own cakes for now on and try my best to travel with it safely.

Yvonne is a friendly, helpful woman who makes fantastic cakes. We loved the anniversary cake we had made. She did buttercream frosting as we requested, and my mom loved it. Everyone said it tasted delicious. She has a lovely little shop. I wouldn't hesitate to have her make another cake.

This year, I decided to surprise my husband with a birthday cake at his work on his birthday. It was a huge hit! And for our second anniversary which was about a week ago, she made us a beautiful heart shaped cake. Each and every cake is beautifully made and absolutely delicious.
