Great ambience for such a small town. Waiter wasn't very attentive, food was way better than the service. Manager had to pre bus our table. And we were the only two patrons in the unit . But again. Food was great!

I've tried coming here (twice) on normal business hours and they seem to always close an hour or two early-- or just whenever they want. The first time we went at 7pm and there was a table inside eating, but the lady (who seemed to be the owner) said they were closed. The second time I called ahead of time to see if they were open and the lady said they were but they will be closing in 5 min. Thought that was pretty funny. Probably won't be coming here for a 3rd time.

I absolutely love this restaurant, everything from its ambience with fresh local art and fun bright colors to its incredible pasta and delicious wines. This is the place to go for wonderful Italian dishes. Only complaint that my cousin will never stop harping on is that it's an Italian restaurant without lasagna.

Amazing food. Amazing staff. Our waitress was wonderful. Very friendly and personable. The dressing was so good. My husband purchased about 20 dollars worth. We will be coming back on our next sonora trip.

We stopped in Sonora for a night on our way to Yosemite. Pretty little town we found this restaurant online. We didn't have to book the seat but it started to get busy right away at 6pm. Where customer who reserved tables start to come in. We had Shrimp Cocktail for starter it was good, zesty full of tiny shrimp in the cup as pictured. Our main dishes are Salmon Fillet and Steaks. Tastes great, nothing to complain about. The price ranges are little high. But you probably have to bare in mind it's the tourist town.

This review is past due, but our experience was so bad I must yelp about it. Our bad experience was with the older woman, whom I believe was the manager or owner. Our party of six walked in to the nearly empty restaurant (only three tables were occupied) hoping to dine there. Within seconds of entering the restaurant, the woman told us she couldn't accommodate us and literally told us to "go somewhere else." Perhaps the restaurant was fully booked with reservations, but I strongly believe that wasn't the case. The tone in her voice, the look on her face, and her body language made us feel that she was discriminating against us based on the ethnicity of several of the members in our party. As another yelper also mentioned, the older woman made it clear that she did not want our business. Fortunately, we went a few doors down to Diamond Back Grill and had excellent food and excellent service. I would never give this restaurant another chance based on how rude the older woman was and how terrible she made us all feel. :-(

Looking for a restruant while visiting family in Sonora. We called several places. It they could not accommodate 8 people until we found Talulah's. When wet arrived at noon our table was waiting for us. The restruant was clean and the staff was friendly and efficient. The portions were large. They kept refilling our sodas and ice tea. I had the steak salad. The steak was medium though I asked for medium rare. It was tasty. The dressing did not have much flavor. There was more lettuce than I could eat. We went during the romaine lettuce recall and the substitute made have been why it wasn't as favorable. The rest of the family had sandwiches which were served with either fries, salad or soup. Everyone cleaned their plates. Having tried many other local restaurants I think this was one of the better.

The red and white exterior awning, simple white curtains, rustic brick interior and vibrant floral art (by talented artist Rebecca Spaan) set the tone for an enjoyable Friday night dinner. Once we dipped our bread into the warm olive oil and tasted our fresh salads served by the attentive staff, we understood why this quaint cafe has such a following. The spaghetti and meatballs and butternut squash raviolis added to our dining pleasure. We enjoyed Talulah's so much that we already recommended it to 2 couples we met at our B&B. (P.S. Dear Talulah owner, How about commission Ms. Spaan to paint a small flower or 2 on a wall in the restaurant bathroom to carry on the beautiful theme?)

I have moved out of the area but still remember fondly their meals. The salmon cooked to perfection, the wonderful ravioli sampler and steaks. The pasta dishes are generous enough for two portions. The locals call their garlic bread "crack bread" because it's addictive and you can't stop eating it. Thanks to Katherine and the entire staff.

I personally really enjoy this cute little restaurant. My favorite is the Raviolis sampler and the salad has an amazing dressing with as tasty piece of bread. You can't go wrong eating here whether it be for lunch or dinner.

Yowza: Great food here. Everything is fresh, unique and cooked to perfection. And I love the ambiance. Darling, great service and the best food in town. It is romantic, comfortable and also a place where you can take a friend or customer. Decent wines. I will always be excited to go back there. I will have to eat my way through the menu!

The food is great but our server is terrible! We ordered pulled pork sandwich and pasta. I asked wheres the side and she said that it didnt come with but i checked the menu again aftwr we paid and all sandwiches comes with a side!!! I didnt mind gettung the sides but she is just a liar!!!! Awful server!

Ordered the pulled pork sandwich. Asked our waitress if it came with any sides she said no. When we left I looked at the menu again and it said all sandwiches come with potato wedges, soup, or salad. When I brought it to her attention she said oh yes it does come with a side. By then we had already paid so we were expecting her to ask what side we wanted so we could take it to go. She then proceeded to walk away and help other customers. We will not be back.

As you look around for great tasting food Talulah's got it going on. Like their Walt Disney or something always plus ing all their dishes. We dined on garlic mashed potatoes that had the sweet Garlic to enjoy. Very sophisticated this place is.

In my effort to find a restaurant that would satisfy 9 different people, I stumbled across Talulah's. It's always a gamble when basing your restaurant choices off of small-town reviews, but Talulah's turned out to be a risk worth taking! The perfect blend of classic and experimental cuisine, Talulah's has something for everyone! My grandpa, who is notorious for being picky, was pleased with the spaghetti and meatballs. I, for one, fell in love with my salad (picture attached). The dressing was light and worked perfectly with the chicken and crispy wonton chips! At the end of the meal, all of us were satisfied, not only with the food, but also with the service. Our waitress was kind and attentive and great at conversation, which is always nice when you're out of town! Overall a great place, especially for older folks. 5/5
