Enjoyed an early dinner at The Armory with friends—this place is spectacular! From the stunning building to the top-notch service and incredible food, everything was on point. We tried the chicken sandwich and the classic burger—both were fantastic. And the Pretty & Pink cocktail? Out of this world. Huge thanks to Lauran for the great service —these folks really know what they’re doing!

I can't believe it took me almost 55 years to find a restaurant where about 10 employees that i saw all acknowledged me with a smile & it felt like i could call my waiter, Bryan, a friend within 5 minutes of meeting him. I sat about as far away from the bar as possible, but still both bartenders talked & checked on me with smiles too. It has been bugging me more & more how dismissive younger people are towards me as I get older, with most of them doing a great job of making me feel totally invisible, so even though I try to eat at a different place every time, this 1 experience was enough for me to call this my favorite restaurant of all of them! I also have to try giant soft pretzels everywhere i find them & this place is in my top 3 favorite from here to Monterey! Tonight was a busy Saturday but my food still came out fast too, so I look forward to trying the rest of the menu and sitting in the rest of the many sections of this huge multilevel restaurant!

We happened upon this place on the way home from the Eastern Sierra. Food was great (steak frites cooked to perfection), great beer list and locally sourced appetizer. Elly our server was great!

The Armory isn't on the main drag of Sonora, but just 1 block off. It's a large space, outdoor patio, upstairs deck and indoor bar. All spaces were roomy with a variety of seating options. We chose indoors, given the nearly 100° temperature. We were greeted immediately upon entering and were brought menus and an offer of water. The drink menu offered many tasty looking cocktails and beers, server told about the 2 'on tap' cocktails which sounded really interesting, but we went with a blackberry mojito as it sounded refreshing, which it was. We ordered a 6 piece wing bowl which had a choice of 3 (or 4?) Sauces to choose from and a smoked pork nachos. Both were tasty, but the nachos had something that had watered them down at the bottom of the bowl so many chips were soggy(maybe the liquid from the pickled onions or jalapeños) Overall service was great, friendly, upbeat, fast, couldn't ask for better service. We would definitely return next time visiting this area.

The food, service, and staff are always amazing here. I've been line dancing at the armory for over a year and a half. And the atmosphere is always upbeat and wonderful. Joe and Eric are a couple of the bartenders at the armory who are always so friendly and helpful. They make sure everyone is safe and having a good time while out in the patio area. The cooks always make wonderful food. The staff always makes sure everything is clean and tidy. I always have an amazing experience here. Definitely recommend to a friend.

Go here for the cool atmosphere, but the food and service are lacking. My order came out cold and missing some of the toppings, but with the roving servers it's hard to track someone down to fix it. Seems like a cool spot to hang out for drinks, though. After the poor food experience we decided to leave without exploring the drink menu.

Food is ok. Fillet mignon is not filet. It is still tasty, but don't get your hopes set on the tenderness of a fillet. Burgers are juicy but a little bland. If you sit outside by the bar don't expect service beyond dropping food off at the table. Overall, a decent meal, but nothing special.
