fresh food. delicious and affordable
I had their Gochu Bang Chicken Bowl that was straight 🔥🔥🔥🔥! Meat was tender, everything was fresh, the sauce was incredible and not sopping inside the bowl (sometimes placed over sauce their food). Seriously it was 10/10. It had a kick for heat but I’m a wuss. 😂 I will definitely go back and highly recommend it. 😍

The High Country BBQ is a must-stop food truck, best described as an incredible Thai BBQ fusion. The flavors are incredible, creating a real flavor explosion. It is hands down the best food in all of Sonora.
The menu features pork belly, chicken, smoked tri-tip, and pork butt bowls, all with the right amount of vegetables, meat, and heat. A new chop suey is also on the menu. They offer vegetarian, vegan, and meat options, and even have grilled cheeses. The Dragon Fire Sauce and Thai BBQ sauce are amazing. The bowls are a good size, very fresh, and a totally reasonable price.
Service is quick even when busy, and it is fairly quick food to go. Orders can be called in, placed via text for pickup, and they accept all payment platforms. The owners are really sweet. The only downside is its hours, open only 11am to 2pm during the week. This local spot is absolutely worth the hype.
