They have the best clam chowder! I've tried clam/seafood chowders all up and down the California coast, and they don't even compare to the chowder here. We also ordered the salmon dinner and chicken dinner and everything was great. If you like spicy foods they have many dishes with some kick, but there are dishes without spice for folks like me who can't handle the heat. A variety of options for meals and a lot of creative combinations I'd never have thought...
Went with a friend this week, haven't been in a while. I ordered the Asian Chicken Salad. The chicken was dried out jerky, no dressing, not good. The fried asperagus was good though and filled me up. When I got there I told the watress I was going to place a to go order for 2 babyback rib meals. They don't have ribs anymore, but it's still on their outdated website. Haven’t been to the Peppery in a long time (a couple years) cause in the past we would order a big salad and they wouldn’t cut up the lettuce and it would drive us nuts. So we went a couple weeks ago, I ordered pasta and my husband ordered jambalaya. Waitress and staff are friendly, get our drinks and check on us for refills. Waited about 30 minutes for the food and when it came out, both our dishes were warm. Not hot. Obviously had been sitting awhile before it was brought...
