I got the risotto the other day. It was cheesy garlicky goodness! Do you like Indian food they have some pretty good stuff too. And I found out that they serve breakfast again, all day - everyday!

Good, not great. We were one of only two tables in the entire restaurant and it still took OVER an hour for our meal to come out, with apps arriving at the same time. Had to ask for a table, had to ask for a menu, had to ask for the check. Our server was very kind but inexperienced which made the interactions awkward at times. Not really her fault, just part of the whole picture.

The place was clean and the dining room was open and airy. The decor was generic Italian wine and grapes, with a few real plants sprinkled amongst the plastic ones.

When our food finally came out it was hot and tasty for sure, but a bit pricey for what we received. Samosas had good flavor but weren't sealed well, and honestly could have used double the filling. Butter chicken was watery although it did have good flavor. Tikki Masala was rich and perfectly spicy. The chicken in these dishes was scant, but not overcooked or freezer burnt which was a plus. Our naan was a bit oily but not bad at all. Pizza was nothing to write home about, but the kids had no complaints.
All this considering, I will be back to try more items on their menu. The flavors were reminiscent of warmth and home cooking, and the diverse choices at this restaurant deserve a second chance and a place in our small town.

I was surprised to find the restaurant completely empty during my visit. The waiter was also preparing food, and the salad was taken straight from packaging without being rinsed, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, it wasn’t quite the authentic Italian experience I was hoping for.

DON’T GO HERE! I ordered dinner through Vineys website. It showed it was on its way, 30 min later than stated, then just cancelled the order. No one at the restaurant would answer the phone or refunded my money. I have not been refunded.

Stopped at Viney's Italian Kitchen for lunch with extended family. Actually ordered the butter chicken off the Indian menu, but other family members tried risotto/shrimp and raviolis as well as a couple of salads. Everything was delicious. We ate on the patio area which was comfortable. This is a block off Washington so may not get as busy as some other restaurants on the main drag but is well worth a visit. Service was awesome!

Best place we ate our whole trip!!!! I had the gnocchi allá pesto with chicken and it was phenomenal. My wife ordered the shrimp risotto that I had a bite of too and I genuinely couldn’t decide which was better. We received big portions of food and they came with breadsticks. So so so good!!!!! Highly recommend <3

Me and my family of 5 were driving around Sonora as it was pouring down. We saw this place open and decided to give it a try, but as we walked in we realized no one else was there, although the atmosphere was very warm and family like. As we debated walking out, assuming it was not the best choice, we got seated and had to commit. First that was noticed was our waiter was quite kind, then we heard the music, it was BOMB like the music taste was chefs kiss. Then I ordered an Italian soda and lasagna which were also BOMB DOT COM!!!! Anyways I hope whoever reads this goes and enjoys it as much as my family and I did. Also hopefully you get no one else there either because it feels almost as if you were in your own dining room. LOVE THIS PLACEEE!!

It was completely empty when we went in, the atmosphere was very laid back and relaxing. We got the Venetian Pizza and garlic fries. The garlic fries were so good that I didn't even take a picture we dug into them that quick! Definitely the best garlic fries I've had. And the pizza was delicious the crust had its own unique flavor by itself even with the tomato sauce and the tomatoes on it both tasted differently. My spouse and I have decided to make this our daily spot, definitely a 10 out of 1I really look forward to trying the Indian food next😀

The water glasses were dirty and the screw tops were rusty. The water tasted like mildew. The seafood pasta tasted freezer burnt.
I was excited to hear that we had Indian food options in Sonora, but they couldn’t even do butter chicken right it was watery and bland with tiny pieces of chicken thighs. The naan might have well been cardboard. For a $100+ meal, I would expect much more. It’s too bad.

Very disappointed. All of our drink glasses were dirty and kinda greasy. Service wasn’t great— had to ask for napkins and utensils, generally slow. I thought the samosas and Italian calzones were pretty good, but for the price, I’d rather go elsewhere. The butter chicken curry was EXTREMELY watered down.

If I could give this restaurant less than 1 star I would. My family and I went for Father’s Day. To start with, all drinks were served with no ice, tasted like mildew and were served in dirty glasses. We had Dr. Pepper and it tasted like they needed to clean the machine tubing. We ordered family style - we got the Seafood Pasta, Anipasti, Butter Chicken, Italian Calzone. Everything was brought out at different times, we had to ask for plates and silverware, and the food was absolutely disgusting. The service was lacking, the food was inedible and the atmosphere was non-existent. How is this place still open?

Update:

Still amazing food and big shout out to the staff. Took my visiting family there and again they knock it out of the park with fantastic food and awesome service. Can't recommend this place enough!! Had 2 different calzones, a plate of lasagna, and some chicken
Alfredo. All spot on and all I heard at the table was this was an amazing idea !! Way to go Vineys Italian Kitchen !!

Our Waitress Delaynie was very accommodating to our group. She took the time to explain the dishes and help us decide from a great menu and boy did this place deliver. The Bruschetta was flavorful and the garlic bread used was outstanding. When asked for advice between the Meatball sandwich and the Calzone, Delaynie was spot on and recommended both but to start with what they are known for which is great Calzones. It was simply amazing and they have so much more. I know next time it will be the meatball sandwich but after the amazing Calzone, I want another!! Others in our group went with the Chicken Marcella, the spinach ravioli, and the fantastic pasta. Rave from all. 5 stars for this place. Highly recommended and can't wait to come back for more of their menu. You know it was good when getting in the car and everyone is talking about their dinner. Great Job !!
