My husband was racially profiled by being followed (again) around the store by a salesperson in multiple isles of the store.
He and I have been customers here for years and have been followed regularly even though we do not look dress or act suspicious.
I called the store and af`ter the 3rd time I called after being disconnected, the customer service clerk left my name and number but since then no calls back. This happened June 8th, and I believe the store owes my husband an apology.
This type of treatment is not exclusive to this company, but I believe that making this statement and taking action will reflect our nations values where black indigenous people of color are able to shop without feeling pursued, so to speak. I have been there and witnessed this myself, and now it is due time to put a halt to this type of behavior.
Furthermore, this should be a national standard for employees to take racial profiling training just as sexual harassment and job safety training is mandated.
These are hardworking individuals coming into your store to spend their hard earned money, and deserve the same treatment as those who are not followed

Today I was treated amazingly well by the manager on duty (Ephram??) Even though the store was PACKED today it was no excuse to be treated terribly by a floor clerk but Ephram stepped is and was genuinely apologetic about his clerks behavior. Nice to know he is trying.

People here are extremely helpful. Lynn in plumbing did a wonderful job taking care of my project.
Beware the self-checkout machines. Just be prepared to not recognize your signature as the pens are quite sensitive and squirrelly.
Know what you want to do; you'll have to talk their people through it!
One of these days I will know what HD carries and where everything is.
