The food was outstanding! We got the oyster appetizer. They were sweet and delicious and refreshing.. my entrée of the Seabass with the mango salsa with satisfyingly delicious and I would definitely get it again. We were there with our children and our waitress, kept bringing us bread and was really present with us.

The service was great. The setting, outside patio was beautiful and some of the food was very good. My salad, blackened fish taco salad was just soap. Fish was good but avocados were not ripe and hard. The tortilla chips were stale. Not the best salad I have had several times.

Amazing food every visit! Don't miss the Cajun deep fried artichoke hearts, the mussels and especially their blackberry bread pudding! Sit in the garden room or outdoor patio main dining room a bit noisy. All the waitstaff friendly and knowledgeable. Dress is casual!

Normally, we enjoy this restaurant. But this evening, the french fries were greasy. The chicken sandwich was not up to par with the one you can get a Burger King. Waiter was indifferent. Wish I had stayed home.

We were Sat 20 mins after our reservation on a dirty table. The busser wasn't finished, so the host had us standing awkwardly. The table clearly had not been wiped down. Drinks were served after we had finished our appetizers. Steak salad was lacking any creativity, it was average at best. Prime rib wasn't anything special. The halibut special was good. The rotisserie chicken was good. There are so many other places to eat in Soquel/Capitola/Santa Cruz. We will not be returning.

We were a group of 8 that arrived early. Thankfully, we were seated in the bar area where we had cocktails and then sat at a nice, somewhat secluded table for dinner. The crab cakes appetizer was fabulous, the bread with oil & vinegar was great, along with our meals. Thank you so much for the friendly atmosphere. The only downside was the parking as we had to park across the street as there were other other private business signs. We will visit again. (Someone responded by saying this comment violates the rules? I left the restaurant 5 🌟 🤩 stars. The parking is a legitimate complaint.) Is someone just being stinky?
The food was excellent. Everything and I mean everything I tasted was excellent. The staff was nice, and stayed on top of everything. They also have patio seating with heaters.

This was a beautiful restaurant with prompt service. Parking was hard but luckily we took an Uber, but plan ahead. We had reservations and only had to wait around 8 min and staff were communicating with each other and us well. Our waitress was less engaging than those at the front but I imagine she was busier. The artichokes were delish, the salad acceptable. The filet was cooked to perfection, but the veggies were under done. Great IPA. Found something WILD looking in our cream brulee and the staff whisked it away. The manager came out shortly after to explain it was a vanilla bean but he understood why we were concerned. He comped the drinks, app, and dessert. So above & beyond. Recommend!
