Always the best in every way! I have been going there for decades several times a year and have never been disappointed.
Food was scrumptious. Service was very attentive without being obtrusive. Water glasses were always filled. Price was reasonable for quality.
Good food. Excellent staff

The noise level was very nice because we always sit out in their lovely courtyard! The one time I ate inside it was really loud.
Really good food. Large portions. Had the blackened fish taco salad and a margarita. Great service and a nice atmosphere.

We celebrated our wedding reception here and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Kenneth was so helpful and made the coordination a breeze. He even made the perfect custom Halloween menus for our event. Alex was our server, he has the best smile and made everyone feel tended to even though our group was about 25 people. The food was delicious and came out amazing. All my guests loved it! Thank you for making my wedding a success!

Always a great place to meet friends for lunch or dinner. Bar area and main restaurant are noisy, but patio & garden room are more conducive to talking. All food is good to excellent. They are known for the rotisserie chicken and steaks.

We had swordfish tacos and they were delicious. Kaelyn our waitress was the greatest! Cute atmosphere in the garden area!

Cafe Cruz's food, service, ambiance is always consistent. It is a wonderful place to enjoy with friends, family, or even an intimate romantic meal for two. I've never had a bad meal here.

Beautiful interior and a charming outdoor patio (where we chose to eat). Service was attentive, but not cloying. Water glasses were promptly refilled. Two people ordered the pork chops (with garlic and lemon flavored mashed potatoes and summer squash). One person ordered the roast chicken. The chicken portion was huge and the chicken was perfectly moist. The pork chops were a bit dry, but otherwise well-seasoned. Dessert of Polar Bear lemon sorbet was a very serving and a lovely end to a first-rate dinner.
We chose patio dining on a beautiful Santa Cruz evening. We were with another couple that we hadn't seen in a long time and we never felt rushed and yet our server was attentive. Our meals were delicious. My friend kept raving about her swordfish and were equally pleased with our papardelle bolognese. Cafe Cruz never disappoints.
Overall good food, atmosphere is very modest given that this must have been a Denny's at one point.
Cafe Cruz is at its best. It has been around a long time and very good, but lately the food just seems a cut above. We've had some excellent servers too, like Kelly, Nancy and Andrea. Keep up the good work!
Great experience. If you need a variety of food options to appeal to your group, this has it - dinner entrees, dinner-size salads, sandwiches, tacos, etc. We will be back!
