NOT happy with my salmon ... so I go to a specialty fish shop expecting they'd only sell really fresh fish, right ? A nasty "off" tasting fishy taste. Moral of the lesson?, only buy when in season locally and ASK how fresh the fish really is.

Great fresh, local halibut with choice of two marinates. Friendly service and great location! You can grocery shop for fresh produce and interesting staples.

Love the quality of the fish and they're nice people, however the prices are high and I can leave with that, but slipping in a 3.25% Convenience Fee for using a credit card and not telling you until you reconcile your receipt is very petty.

I bought some hot links and a ham steak. I cooked the ham steak into an omelet on two occasion# within 5 days of purchase. I noticed right away the meat felt slimy an$ slippery, even opening the sealed package the day after purchase. It produced gastrointestinal disturbance. I don't want to take a third chance on either meat, so I'm throwing it away. will not patronize again. I've never had slimy ham steak from Lucky or NobHill

I am very satisfied with my choices at the fish lady. I can vouch for the freshness of their king salmon and scallops, items that I purchase on a regular basis. Happy to have a seafood market within walking distance.

We have loved the fish lady for years! We have however recently noticed a decline in the quality of meat and fish they are selling. Hoping this will improve as they are very expensive.

Danger danger Will Robinson! I went to the Fish Lady this AM, 25NOV21, and immediately left. The owner, Mike, and employees are trying to infect their customers with any air born disease you can think of. No masks on these sad little people who have seemed to succumb to the the 4 Axis of Evil, Russia, China, N Korea & Iran, in their attempt to dismantle the American lifestyle. One would think they would want to protect their customers so they can return to keep The Fish Lady in business.. Geez, as of today 25NOV21, there have been only 47,916,623 infections and 773,779 deaths. No idea about long haul SARS-CoV-2 issues. No wonder they don't wear a mask, it isn't important to them.
I was told that this place sells the best fish close to Aptos. However, the choices were super limited, prices were very high, so i ended buying much better fish at Whole foods.

Over prized and not great quality . I tried to support this little business but it is way too expensive . There is not much choice to choose from as far as fish selection , and the the meat is pre packaged ... freshness of fish was not prime and tuna was $28 a pound !

I do not know how they stay in business - you can not reach them via the phone or a website. They have great food - but customer service leaves a lot to be desired. If you cannot reach them - you go elsewhere!
