Great food and service! Love the sizzling rice soup. I highly recommend eating sitting in the restaurant for the freshest food. Comfortable and warm inside.

My favorite Chinese restaurant in Santa Cruz! The prices are very fair, the food is excellent and always consistent, and the staff is very friendly!

This is such a cute little restaurant! We were greeted right when we came in and I noticed how clean and tidy this place was. We had just gotten Chinese food in San Jose that wasn't the best and we needed REDEMPTION. And redemption was found in Ming's Palace. We ordered the "Family Dinner" and don't you dare judge that there were only two of us. The minimum is 2 people! The one we ordered has hot and sour soup (yummmmmm), almond chicken (so yummm), sweet & sour pork (crispy with a perfect sauce), pork fried rice (loved), and Mongolian beef (a little salty). My fiancé and I enjoyed our food very much and we were checked on multiple times. Great experience! I want to go back already!

These people are really nice, and they have some really good dishes. I have my favorites, like their Mushu shrimp and Mushu vegetables. This is a good solid place and one of my standards.

We arrived at 5 PM on a Saturday and they immediately had a table for our party of 4. We all got something different and everything looked and smelled amazing. Well prepared hot quality food great ingredients. This was our first time here and we will definitely be back.

Love this little place in the Soquel Village! The food is fresh and delicious and made to order - big portions too. We usually order take-out and the service on the phone is always great and takes about 15 minutes to be ready. Nothing fancy inside but their menu has everything you could want. Love that they are open seven days a week!

Definitely know what they're doing there. You should go, if you don't like your experience you're probably a terrible human.

Short review: Good food, quick service, friendly, and clean.Long review:Okay, my photos don't do this place or this food justice. I was too busy enjoying it and was lucky to get any pictures of the food because we dug right in.- Nice, minimalistic setup with lots of wood. Wood floors, some paneling on the walls, and mahogany furniture. I felt like I was in another dimension due to how quiet and serene it was in there, and that is a good thing.Upon receiving the nicely-sized, waterproof-texture menus, we were overwhelmed with a sense of nostalgia trailing back to another spot we miss dearly in the Bay Area. That's beside the point.- I had been looking for Hunan beef [crispy beef] for a while and happened to find it here, per my partner's recommendation. We also got the appetizer combo plate and chow mein - the familiar dish that is easy to screw up at most restaurants but Ming's makes it delicious and comforting. Perfect noodles and perfect rice. Seriously, I feel like I'm at an aunt's house when I eat from here. Reasonable price too, we totally got takeout the next day after coming here for dinner the first time.-I don't understand why people are complaining that the server is mean. I thought she was just straightforward and swift. If you want to be babied, please go back to Texas Roadhouse or Applebee's.

Our granddaughter (5) absolutely loves the war wonton soup, she calls it green soup. Every Wednesday we get green soup and fried shrimp her favorites! My husbands favorite is Mongolian beef and special fried rice. We also love the sesame balls. I love the Hong Kong noodles. Always delicious and owners are especially nice.

Ate here on the recommendation of another couple we had just met at Golden Fu Wah. Both of us were ignored at Golden Fu Wah , so we walked out. The couple suggested Ming's. We all walked down to Mings and had a wonderful lunch. We were greeted immediately and seated. The menu has a lot to choose from including many lunch special options. We ordered two different lunch combos. They came with hot & sour soup that was really good. The entrees were served on beautiful unique plates. We both had sweet & sour chicken that was very good and fried rice that was good. My partners came with salmons chicken that he live and a crispy egg roll that he enjoyed. My plate also had delicious beef with broccoli and fried prawns. Even our iced tea was good. Service was perfect and attentive. We will definitely be back and now forgoing ever going back to Golden Fu Wah!
