CHECK YOUR TAKE-OUT ORDER.
For the second, and last, time my take out order was missing an entree from a plate. And it wasn't even busy! It is so frustrating to come home and to find items missing. In essence, it is fraud and theft.
Pisses me off to no end.

Not the greatest one out of them all. Food was okay, chicken teriyaki taste like tap water, chowmein was good, and the orange chicken was very little meat. The customer service is lousy. Not too great.

Food was terrible took one bite and spit it out. Returned the food and got a refund. Will not be returning
1 star (only because Google won’t let me give 0)
I picked up my order on 7/30 at 8:03 PM, and this was hands down the worst Panda Express experience I’ve ever had. Everything tasted like it was cooked in old, nasty fryer oil that hasn’t been changed in days.
• Orange chicken: soggy, greasy, and tasted like burnt fire oil.
• Fried rice: bitter and burnt, like it was scraped off the bottom of the pan.
• Honey sesame chicken: tasted rotten. Not “a little off”—rotten.
What’s wild is that people are willing to stand in line until the entire restaurant is packed, nearly spilling out the door and into the parking lot, just to get served this trash. You’re waiting 20+ minutes for food that’s not even worth feeding to your dog.
What pisses me off even more is I almost worked for Panda, so I know what their standards are supposed to be. Everything should be hot, rotated regularly, and fresh off the wok. What I got tasted like it had been sitting out since lunch.
You could get fresher, hotter food at McDonald’s—and for half the price.
I’m seriously tempted to go back with the receipt from my phone and the printed one from the bag and ask for a full cash refund—because this was beyond disappointing. It was borderline disrespectful to serve this to customers.
Fix this location or shut it down. It’s a disgrace to the Panda Express name.

Every month or so we order food from the 41st and soquel location. It's usually 50/50 shot on whether the food is good or under/over cooked. Service has always been debatable, depending on how busy they are. Today, there was only 2 people in line. My husband ordered and paid for our food online. When we arrived, they were still working on it. Normally, we check the order, but I was in a hurry to get my husband home, (He had just gotten out of the hospital). When we got home an hour later, we found part of the order missing. Instead of the 12 spring rolls we ordered, we only received 2. I called the location twice before someone finally picked up. I explained what had happened, and they told me to hang on, that they would get someone to help me. They sat the receiver down and I've been sitting here for 45 minutes listening to pans clanging and banging, people talking and no one coming to the phone. Seems like the service had gotten worse over the last few months.

slowest service in town. order there, you'll be in line for 15mins. order online, you'll still be waiting for 15mins. food is always guaranteed to be late, cold, and inconsistently portioned.
HORRIBLE ! ! ! the food is usually bad
anyway at panda express on 41st and Soquel BUT tonite
is the WORST ! ! ! 1/2 hr wait for fried
fried rice and teriyaki chicken? that's
the only thing the rude kids here can't
really mess completely up? when I told them the chow mein was HORRIBLE
they just laughed in my face? this is an affluent neighborhood and panda express should be ashamed of themselves? and the place is empty?
u should be ashamed of urselves this is a waste of $11

Don't choose this Panda Express if you don't want small portions. Go to the one in Santa Cruz! It's more worth it and the service is better. This one is terrible.
Slooooooooooow. Ordered on door dash 34 minutes ago and it says they are still preparing the order?????!!!!!

I wrote a survey and have yet to receive an response or apology from anyone. So I have to write about it here. I have been coming to this Panda Location before and never had any issues. Except this last time, I went to order a plate of food. While waiting to be attended by the employee, he was cleaning the area around the bowls where the food sits to be ladled onto the plate. However what he does with the towel he used to wipe the counter disgusted me. The employee then went and flicked the little bits of food and rice and whatever else was collected right back into the fried rice serving bowl. I was shocked to see this is how they serve their customers. Hopefully someone in Management sees this and will do something about that employee and train them correctly. Before someone gets sick.
Panda Express – Fast, Delicious, and (Mostly) Flawless
Panda Express is hands down my favorite place for orange chicken, rice, and chow mein—quick, easy, and always satisfying. The food was great, the service was solid, and I was soaking up some sunshine by the window, enjoying my meal. Perfect setup.
However, I ran into a couple of hiccups. First, I wasn’t able to leave a tip because they only accept cash tips. I don’t carry cash (because I lose it, it’s dirty, and, let’s be real, I believe cash is evil). If they could allow customers to tip via credit or debit, I’d feel a lot better about my transactions.
Second, I tried to leave a glowing review through the Panda Express app and website, but both were riddled with errors that prevented me from doing so. They need some serious bug fixes because I actually wanted to leave a compliment, and that shouldn’t be so difficult.
On a side note, while I was sitting there, a guy named Kevin was keeping the restaurant clean, which is great—except he spent an oddly long time sweeping around me and banging the dustpan against the floor like he was sending a message. Not sure if he was mad at his boss, me, or just having a rough day, but it was a bit... distracting. I thanked him for being so loud on my way out, and he did apologize while staring at the floor—so, progress?
Overall, great food, great place. Just needs a tipping option, a functioning app, and maybe a little less passive-aggressive sweeping.

The food is great and easy on the stomach, but bring back plastic forks
Waited for the food, after being ignored for several minutes at the online order when they had about 8-10 workers, my boyfriend stepped forward to give our name for our online order. The worker rudely snapped that “I see you, hold on a minute. What’s your name?” but then handed him the bag immediately. She was super rude and I’m still scratching my head as to why she said to hold a minute when she didn’t even hesitate to grab the food. She was just weirdly aggressive about it all and it appeared rude and this was not a great interaction at all.
The food is sometimes really good, sometimes really bad. Same thing with portions. I had a bowl with steamed rice and orange chicken the other day, it was all rice just a few pieces of chicken. And I get frustrated by the sauce packets never tearing right so you can't open them.
