Soquel Vineyards is a beautiful winery with excellent wines and a lovely atmosphere. The staff, including the host and tasting room manager, are welcoming, accommodating, and knowledgeable. Visitors can enjoy stunning views of the vineyards and Monterey Bay while tasting a variety of wines, including Pinot Noirs, Cab Franc, Nebbiolo, and Sauvignon Blanc. The outdoor seating area is charming, with a garden and foundations adding to its appeal. Inside, the space is intimate and perfect for a more personal experience, although most seating consists of high top tables where guests often stand or sit in the sun. The winery is located in the mountains with winding roads, offering a peaceful setting. Tastings are $10 for 5 wines, with a flexible policy of waiving the fee for every 2 bottles purchased. They make a nice variety of wines, but tend to be more red-heavy, with some Italian styles.
