This is our first time visiting Sunrise Cafe, based on reviews we read online. There is a nice selection of breakfast and lunch options. We were really impressed by the food. The ingredients were fresh and genuine, and the prices were quite affordable.

We both ordered breakfast: I had eggs, potatoes, and bacon, while my companion chose French Toast with a side of bacon. Everything was fresh and hot, which means it was freshly made. We plan to keep coming back whenever we visit the Soquel/Aptos/Capitola area.

First time and the server was kind. But he took order and never came back to offer drink refill, napkins or water after bringing my food. Brought check and that's it. No conversation of how was the food or do u need anything. Food was OK. Space is very small. I didn't want to leave tip so I left $2 and they looked upset. But not as upset as I was with a dry mouth. I ordered hot chocolate before order came and never was offered anything else to drink. Guess im.glad i was served. Lmao. I dranked my bottle water in the car after leaving.

Not a bad breakfast….

Only saw two vegan options on the Sunday morning menu, but one was sufficient. Tofu cubes seasoned with tumeric, served with sauteed tomatoes, potato, green onion, avocado, corn tortillas and salsa.

Food was good, but beware if you pay with a credit card, they'll tell you they charge 3% extra but it's more like 10%-15%. Do the math before you pay. I've been going there for years and they've been doing that, imagine how much money they've taken from there customers with the 3% lie..

Older cafe with a lot of charm. Food was warm and tasty. Waiter was friendly and prompt. Great spot for a quick bite with friends and family.

Simple basics. It changed ownership a couple years back but he has kept everything as is. Nice hole in the wall breakfast spot.

Super tasty, reasonably priced breakfast. Killer home fries, salsa and scrambles -- there are also vegan options!

Very friendly staff as well.
