The folks serving us were great and had good wine recommendations. Somehow they were out of burgers during burger week, but the lasagna was tasty (untraditional but good). Tables outside were roomy and well heated.

Intimate, but casual atmosphere. Small jazz trio played in the corner (at a sound level where we could still talk at our table). The food was just incredible. We each had different entrees and planned to go elsewhere for dessert, but the entrees were so amazing that we tried the dessert as well and again - amazing. Staff was super attentive and we even spent a few minutes chatting with the owner/pastry chef. Best food in the Aptos/Capitola/Santa Cruz area in my opinion.

They don’t serve food until 4 PM, but the bakery selection is beautiful, abundant, fresh, and delicious. With a tea or coffee, it’s hard to choose just one thing. We ended up selecting a quiche from their refrigerator, which they heated for us, and some pastries. It’s a lovely place for a quiet chat with friends over house-made delights. Already planning to return. May take home some fresh bread next time. Highly recommend.

The plain and rasin croissant were tough and hard to eat. The baguette we got was broken and there was improper handling of the food(not sanitary). Overall, the pastries and baguette weren't very good and would not go again.

So happy to have found this little gem. Don't let first glance fool you, the food is amazing. I particularly recommend the quiches and tacos. There is also a really cute little French Bakery inside the main restaurant. We sat outside and there was a little noise from street traffic but not too bad. Will def revisit!

Went for a first date. The place is small with approximately 25 chairs. I would recommend making an a reservation to ensure a seat. Great staff, ambiance, food, and wine choices.

We’ve been here a few times. The first few times were very good to great. The last couple of times it was average. The charcuterie this time was average at best. It used to be a signature dish. The Caesar salad is still good. The burger was overcooked and very well done. Great wine list Service was good.

The service was impeccable! I paid $16.00 for a Caesar Salad. Not much there. A bit disappointed with that. Wine was at a great price. Asked the Server to pick out a Pinot Grigio and he served us a moderately priced one.
Parking: Not a lot of spaces, there is parking on the street.
If I could give 10 stars for service, I would! We had a party of 7, served by Jacob. He was outstanding! And one woman (didn't get her name, but she had red-ish hair) was so friendly. Food was great, patio was a little noisy with road traffic. I highly recommend Vinocruz and hope we can return one day. Thank you all for great service as we celebrated a couple of birthdays and a re-connection of cousins from opposite coasts.

The food was fantastic!!! We were the only people there unfortunately. They even had a band playing. We enjoyed the food a lot!! The service was so so but I understand. She was had no customers so that means she's making very little money. But I'd give my one customers the best service they ever had if it was me. But the business and cooks deserve the five star rating. 100%!! Fantastic place to take a date or your visiting parents. Loved it!!!!
