This place is top notch, I visited for the first time with my family. We didn't have to wait more than 10mins to get seated. Emanuel was our server and he was very attentive and patient when taking our orders even if we had 4 indecisive kids. I ordered the chilaquiles and I totally recommend them and the caramel latte.

The food was great! I had the Mole Chilaquiles with pork belly and two eggs. The only thing I missed was a spicy salsa.

We did go pretty early. There was only one server for about 6 tables. So the service was a little slow. Although it was with a smile. My food was delicious but it came out cold. So I had to send it back. My sister, aunt cousin, both had a french toast and they both said that it was amazing. I will be going back but I would love to go during their brunch on Saturday or Sunday, when they have music.

First off, I went on Saturday evening around 7pm. Music was extremely loud that you had to raise your voice to talk to the server and your guests. Place is too small to have music so loud. It was 4 of us in my party and we had to return 2 of the 4 plates because beans and rice were cold. Waitress was polite, attentive, and cute. They had a live performer that started playing guitar at 8pm. He sang and played well, but once again, music was too loud for the size of the establishment. There were 4 people sitting at the bar watching the football game who were extremely loud everytime a team made a touchdown. This was in my opinion a bit distracting and disrespectful to other customers. Menu choices were also very limited and expensive for what you actually get served. Beans were good but in all honesty, you don't get what you pay for. Beans and rice are pretty much just spread on the plate, you really don't get much of a serving. I recommend La Barca in Downey, you get more food for your buck. I've been in the restaurant business over 40 years and have extensive knowledge of what a good restaurant should entail. On a Saturday night this restaurant should have been busier with guests but at the time I went, they were at approximately 20% capacity. If this restaurant is paying rent, I don't see them staying open too long. For the location, the pricing on the menu in my opinion is at least 30% higher than its neighboring competition.

First time there and the food was good, and the service was great. From the time we walked in not knowing what to expect. Magaly the server greeted us in a friendly way that made you feel like you were family. The food was delicious that I forgot to take pictures. But definitely a place to check out. Ask for Magaly she was great!!

I normally would not post a review after a single experience but I stopped in for lunch on a whim and had the lechon nachos which were truly outstanding
All three salsas provided were excellent. The service was very friendly and I am looking forward to coming back and trying everything else that have to offer.

Honestly the overall food taste was good. First of all the temperatures on the food was just all over the place. Either overcooked or undercooked. If you can’t make some proper sunny side eggs I don’t know what to tell you.
Second the pricing was alright, not terrible but we got asked if we wanted salsa and then asked if we wanted spicy or mild and we chose both just to try them. We got charged for both salsas! I don’t think I’ve ever been to a restaurant let alone a Mexican restaurant and got charged for salsa, especially when it was offered to us and not mentioned any charge for it.
Overall decent everything just some things that just wasn’t acceptable.

My boyfriend saw this place on Instagram. Their posts and videos of their food looked so amazing. Today we decided to go and it was mid/alright. I had chicken enchiladas and my boyfriend had the loaded nachos. We were both disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend it 😞. Not to mention the food are OVERPRICED! The sever did not tell us how much our total was and we were about to pay BLINDLY! Save your money!!
** Update to reply to owner **
Indeed we did not want the check. However, we have the right to know the total cost of our meal instead of having an awkward staring contest with the sever. We are aware that the waters were free, that is what we wanted to drink 🙂. No one is lying here, be considerate of your words. This is my honest review. Thank you.
