Before, the tamales were very good. I don't think they are made by the same people. Today I bought them and the corn dough came out watery and with a very brown color and they came with a small portion; they were more leaves.What portion used to be yellow and hard, I won't return them because I live retired.

Don’t let the appearance fool you. This is one of the best places for tamales in LA, which is saying something. Don’t go if you’re looking for boutique, but if you want the classic favorites, pollo, queso, puerca, this place is first rate. And their elote tamales are The Best! The tamales had a good flavor, they were small, but the biggest disappointment and the reason why I am giving this place three stars is because there was hardly any beef in the tamales.
