I work in the restaurant industry and I love this places but when I walked in and observed Marlene going from cleaning her noise to taking my order to bagging orders without washing her hands grossed đ€ź... the only reason why I did not cancel my order was because she did not touch my food... Food safety is the most important thing in a restaurant and team his not following it!!!

RAW CHICKEN!!! I came here and ordered 2 Chicken Katsu plates and in BOTH of them I found PINK and glossy chicken! Spit out my food immediately and got grossed out. Will not be coming back here

First time here. Tried #1 which is the hawaiian chicken. It seems like boneless chicken thigh grilled in teriyaki sauce. Comes with 2 scoops of white rice, 1 scoop of macaroni salad, and veggies. I substituted 1 scoop of rice with cabbage.
This place in southgate has gone down, they have new workers and the service is terrible, the people cooking bad, the people taking your order bad.

We love Ono because itâs easy to grab lunch for our staff as we are neighbors. Food is always great and we probably get takeout 2 to 3 times a week from you guys and we spend about a $100 each time. Service has been good not great, but this time the young lady helping us went a little over board. Now, our order was for 6 people and we asked for hot sauce she gave us a handful and we did asked for a bit more and she handed some more. When we asked for a little bag for our teriyaki sauce she make an, âummmmmmâ sound as if we had inconvenienced her in some way. I know sauces are complementary, but we did order about $100 worth of food. I hope this is not something that is permitted to happen because we want to continue to get food from you guys.
This place should be evaluated by the heal department. The lack of shame and amount of audacity these employyes have is comparable to animals.... how do these employees have the nerve to give us food that had been sitting out for who knows how long. I am left in disbelief and utterly traumatized after what felt like a near death experience choking on the chewy cold food that left me with a soar that and a tummy ache. I hope they don't get anyone else sick. It's disgusting to think about how dirty this place would have to be to have given multiple people food poisoning.

Well here I am unfortunately writing a review that deserves negative stars.. letâs start with the atmosphere that was dead silent and cold enough to shelter Eskimos. Me and my girlfriend was really hungry couldnât wait for a bomb meal. Unfortunately, the food which I donât know how this is even possible for Hawaiian âBBQâ was cold and stale. I highly recommend that you guys just shut off the lights and put yellow tape in front of the doors because this is food I wouldnât even give to my dog. Actually, my dog, might side eye me if I put it in his bowl.. âinsert negative starsâ
