This establishment is amazing staff is great and friendly. The manager Valeria C. Is amazing and helped us when we had a confusing situation with our catering issue and also her staff are very customer focused they are always friendly with a smile. I’ve been to many paneras and this is my go too. I still drive from Hawthorne to South Gate just for this Panera because they always get our order right and food is so fresh and just always seems to be the right amount of perfection. I’ve tried my home Panera and even others but the can never get my sandwich right or the soups are cold. Not this one in South Gate! Always clean and food is always 100% fresh and amazing.

My first time to Panera Bread. I used the drive thru. I had a lot of question and the person taking my order was very patient and willing to answer all my questions. The food was great too. Will definitely be back soon to try a different item on the menu.

When did the breakfast sandwiches shrink in size? I stopped by this morning to grab an iced coffee & a bacon double take sandwich through the drive thru. Took almost 8 minutes from the time I placed the order to when I got to the window. I paid full price for my drink and coffee. I get to work and I unwrap my sandwich and I find this! I didn't pay for a half sandwich! But Panera now reduced the size of their breakfast sandwiches without notifying us the customers??? I feel robbed... I have ordered this sandwich before and this is the 1st time I see the sandwich shrunk to a half size 😞 SO DISSAPPOINTED!

This is an open letter to the local management and corporate leadership of this Panera location...
You have an employee at this location (Lilly). Lilly is in serious need of support and counseling. She has a horrible attitude and is not helpful at all. If the counseling and support doesn't help with her horrible customer attitude and lack of interest in her work, then a formal disciplinary process should be started.
I have a son in law who is an exceptional example of the type of people Panera typically hire. He's hard working, has a great attitude and is acknowledged as a hi performer in the Panera world...
Lilly will keep us from EVER coming to this location again...
I ordered a Chipotle chicken avo melt. Upon receiving my order through door dash, I found a note in the bag stating they ran out of black pepper focaccia bread, and made it on sourdough instead. They also through in a cookie for the inconvenience.
I gave the cookie away, as I'm trying to limit myself on sweets, but I thought it was nice of them to write a note explaining the change in the order and throwing in the cookie.
Greatly appreciate the time you guy's took to write the note! I'll be ordering again soon!

Every visit to Panera Bread feels like a treat! The service is swift, and the staff always greets you with a smile, making you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. Their salads are fresh, sandwiches hearty, and their baked goods? Absolutely divine! The cinnamon crunch bagel is my personal favorite. The restaurant itself is clean and well-maintained, with a pleasant atmosphere filled with soft music and natural lighting. It’s a fantastic place to catch up with friends or just enjoy some alone time with a good book and coffee.

This is a small but modern Panera, it is quite equipped with outlets to facilitate work or relax while your charge your devices with their free WIFI for an hour or 2! The tables are quite ample and spacious, so grab a cup of coffee, a pastry, cookies or a full meal to enjoy it with your loved ones.
