Me and my boyfriend have been regular customers here for several months. The pho is amazing and perfectly cooked everytime. The service is good, but I would like to give recognition to Lizette. The quality of service is noticeably better when she's working. When I see her on staff I know we're going to have our belly's full and check payed in no time. Lizette service is exceptional. Her efficiency in seating and serving customers is remarkable, and she is always polite and professional. She is a real asset to this restaurant and a perfect example of awesome customer service

I recommend this place even though it was very busy in the afternoon. They attended us like Vip. I love the new menu and the pictures makes me wanna it eat all.
I've been a loyal customer of this soup shop since it opened in South Gate, but my recent experience left me extremely disappointed. When I arrived, there was a waitlist of 3 parties. But the 3 parties were not present and nor visible, and I noticed four empty tables. Since I’ve always enjoyed dining here, I decided to take a seat at one of the open tables.
However, instead of understanding or accommodating my decision, the manager, Hung, approached me in a rude and unprofessional manner. Rather than offering a simple explanation or solution, he seemed more focused on enforcing the waitlist without regard for customer satisfaction. Adding to the negative experience, a female server was also dismissive and did little to help with the situation.
This treatment felt dismissive and disrespectful, especially considering my loyalty to the restaurant. I expected a more courteous and customer-friendly approach from the staff. Unfortunately, after this experience, I'm not reconsidering returning to this establishment. Horrible experience.

Loved this place, but from a couple months on it’s been going downhill. The service has always needed attention. My last couple Visits I noticed the pho wasn’t that great anymore, today took the win tho. The quality of the meat was a solid zero. I ordered the combination pho. Brisket was nothing but FAT, there was only one piece of tendon and one piece of tripe, the rare meat was completely frozen up stuck together in a ball! No matter how long it sat in the not so hot broth it never cooked!!!! It was literally just RAW, not rare. And although I brought it up to the staffs attention my remark was just ignored. I put the fat and raw meat on a separate plate. I have to agree with other reviews and say that the jasmine tea tastes like perfume. Lunch hour tends to get busy so make sure you are easy to wait.
Came here for the Pho: Shaken style and combination. Very sweet and interesting take on shaken style pho, was expecting a Peruvian shaken style but it get more of an angus steak flavor from Panda Express which is way too sweet . Pho was good in general as well but for the price point I was expecting more flavor from the broth . Staff is very friendly , vibes are nice, food does lack in the overall taste department

Ended up with a cold I couldn't go to work. Stayed in bed all day. Finally built up an appetite late night and decided to try Soup Shop for the first time through Uber eats. When I say perfect!!!! That's exactly what I mean! The brisket soup was soooo good and the Jasmine honey tea was great! I never like chili sauce but theirs was great! It knocked out more of my cold than any medicine I took all day! Nice portions and just made my taste buds dance all night!! Thanks Soup Shop! I'll be ordering from you again! Best Healing Ever!! Truly soup for the soul!!!

The pho was not great. When served, it was cold which is strange because pho is mainly hot. The broth was not good either and the garnish that’s already in the pho ruins it . Other places put in on the side. It was over priced for two phos it equaled 45$ even tho each bowl was 16.99. Never coming back here and I’ll take my business to the other nearest pho place in bell

Brisket Pho was excellent! It was light and not too salty with the perfect ratio of broth, noodles, and protein. It was very flavorful! We usually drive far to try and get a descent bowl of Pho. But this one is sooo close to Downey. Yay! Customer service was great. Seating area and restrooms were clean. We will be back!

Everything about this place was fantastic! Sometimes when you want something full of veggies the options are limited and just don’t fill you or taste as good as beef. At this place it was not the case all the veggies came out at cooked to where they are still a little crunchy. It was balanced with some delicious tofu and packed with flavor. Affordable soups and I also recommend the garlic truffle fries

Parking: Maybe 20- 30 parking spots in front or close by entrance
Ordered take out for postmate deliver .They gave me my meal with no spoon no fork with my soup noddle

The most important thing is the food, right? So, my friend had a Chicken curry plate which was quite good and the portions were great. The curry had peas and I think carrots? The cream sauce was quite good and very nice flavor and not too thin are thick was the curry. Indeed a very generous amount of chicken. I had the Rib Pho, which came with 3 ribs which was nice, places I have been too in the past was only 2. Two out of the three had a nice amount of meat on there and tender. The noodles at the bottom were nicely cooked but the broth though it was tasty was too salty. I love salt and use at home sea salt and even sprinkle some on hard boiled eggs and tomatoes and watermelon, so I am used to salt. So people who don't use as much salt as I do would be a bit shocked tasting the broth. Maybe it was a one day and off, whoever the cook was just put in a bit too much salt this last Saturday. We were there in the afternoon. The service was fine, it's not a very big place so you get a bit too much of hearing what your neighbor is saying and of course the crying little angels can carry even in a large restaurant :( There were two "precious little ones" who needed to express themselves :( But no fault to the restaurant, luck of the draw.
