Tacos El Gavilan has delicious food. I was really impressed how clean this location was. All the condiments are packaged individually. Their to go orders plates are packed with this a protective plastic. Highly recommend!

Hope the owners pay attention to this review: The quality and taste of their food has gone down over the years. I miss the taste of old Gavilan from back in the day in LA. Guess they expanded to fast. Aguas frescas are now watered down along with the Champurrado. Self served rabanos and lettuce never came back. Meat quality has suffered and prices have gone up, understandable with the times, but quality should still be there. They continue to have a clean environment and friendly customer service I'll give them that. But taste and quality of the old Gavilan is now missing. I wish them the best, but they lost an old customer.

Hands down one of the cleanest and most authentic Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been to! The guacamole is fresh and flavorful, and the tacos are absolutely unbeatable—truly the best around.
The drive-thru is fast, efficient, and super organized, which makes the whole experience even better. I also love their horchata—perfectly sweet and refreshing. Whether it’s the tortas, burritos, or anything else on the menu, you honestly can’t go wrong.
One detail I really appreciate is how neatly they package the onions and salsa—each one individually packed in a clever, thoughtful way. You can tell they care about quality and presentation.
This place is my absolute favorite—a must-try for anyone who loves great Mexican food! 🌮❤️

I had it as a good review for a while .But now I changed it to horrible I was trying to order and I ask the lady to hold on but she insisted on taking my order right away,I made my order and after I was done her speaker was not off and she said a dumb comment and she said I took long to order just that, I told her excuse me and I went off told her to cancel it im not getting food from place that hire rude people never coming back here again rather go to Downey where they dont have rude people working there
