Five-Star Experience at TGIF South Gate! I had an amazing time at TGIF in South Gate! The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, but what truly made the experience unforgettable was my waitress, Katelin.
She was absolutely fantastic—attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. Not only was her service top-notch, but she was also absolutely kind, which added a little extra sparkle to the evening.
If you're heading to TGIF, I highly recommend asking for Katelin. She’ll make your visit feel like a celebration. Can’t wait to come back.

The restaurant wasn't too busy. It was Monday. I ordered the ribs with 2 sides (broccoli & mashed potatoes). The sides weren't anything special. But the ribs were great. Our server was very nice and helpful 👍

There is a reason why this place is losing more customers , I used to come here since before the pandemic when the employees and managers had respect for their customers , for the past last year they been hiring terrible staff , the bartenders are most of the time hungover and don’t greed you they don’t value their customers , I even tried to complain to the manager once a bout a young female bartender drinking on the clock it but the disrespect from him by putting their unprofessional employees first . The owner here probably has no idea of the issues , restroom are always broken . Besides the service and food being terrible other than that I recommend avoid coming to this Friday . As for me they had lost me a loyal customer , do not bring business here , listen to the bad review they are all true .

Bailey's ice cream dessert was delicious. You get an shot of Bailey in a glass to pour over your ice cream and chocolate brownie. Taste delightful. My mom had that and the TGI Fridays sampler with ribs, chicken and shrimp with mac and cheese, and cole slaw.

The atmosphere is pleasant 10/10 I decided to sit at the counter in which it took more than 10 minutes for someone to offer to take my order, the place was 20% full, then I waited more than 30 minutes for my order in which the rice seemed to be heated in a hot microwave on top and cold on the bottom, the warm salmon and the fresh shrimp were the only good ones on the plate In general there is a lack of more customer service
Our server took a lot of time tending to the care of our table. The quality of our food was exceptional. Make sure to get Melanie the next time you go.
