If I could rate this location it would be 0 stars. I placed an order through DoorDash pick up and it indicated it was ready for pick and unfortunately, it wasnāt. The two staff women were very rude and basically savages. I contacted DoorDash and was in communication with them while waiting for order and DoorDash attempted to contact them via phone and both women ignored phones. Itās such a sad thing in humanity that the staff at this specific location is very uneducated, salvages and lacking restaurant professionalism. Itās mediocre. Manager, please, Iād like your opinion on your staff? Is it the staff or location based since it is South Gate?

Just left the place with mi cold food because the people working there last my ticket number and kept saying that I didn't place an order when I literally had just paid for it. Bad customer service, place is not welcoming. Now we're eating cold chicken and rice. Don't recommend anybody coming here.

Worst chicken bowl. My chicken was butchered...instead of chopped it looked shredded. The chicken was so dry and hard to chew. The rice and veggies were good, however I had a long thin chicken bone in my white rice, it hurt the roof of my mouth. I was very much looking forward to my chicken bowl. No wonder when u pass by its never busy. Do not recommend this place. Never had this problem at other locations. I almost forgot to mention that my husband paid extra for avocado, and it was not in my order when he brought it home.

āI went to Waba Grill for lunch today and was impressed by the outstanding service. There were only two ladies running the placeāone cooking and Rosie handling the cashierābut they were doing a fantastic job. The food was hot and delicious, the restaurant was clean, and the service was excellent. My kids and I really enjoyed our meal. Thank you for the great experience! Weāll definitely be back.ā

Portion on meat is really small, paying for big bowl of rice ? meat quality is bad also
Came in at about 10 am everything was normal till I got home an opened my orderā¦ they served me old rice from the day before and I know I wasnāt making assumptions because I returned to the store after driving all the way home had to drive back and the girl says āthe other staff doesnāt know how to make riceā keep in mind this is 10am they open at 9:30ā¦ soo what other staff??? From last night ?āāļø basically said it her self just didnāt want to seem dumb and then proceed to give attitude when I mentioned that it was old ā¦ got fresh made rice supposedly but once I got home rice was hard once againā¦ gave up Iām not trying to drive back for another messed up orderā¦ NEVER COMING BACK !!! And girl said I had to wait till Wednesday for a refund if I wanted itā¦ SMH ?āāļø
