Worst $6 chocolate croissant I ever had. There is basically no chocolate inside but a thin piece at the bottom!

Oh My God!!! This place is a gem! I’ve been going there for the past year and tried about 70% of their products. They never disappoint. All pastries are so fluffy and delicious. I asked the staff about the ingredients they use (I try to avoid palm oil whenever I can). The chef uses French ingredients and no margarine or palm oil. Butter only. If you haven’t been at Berry Opera, you missed out

Okay I will be honest this is a little ridiculous to charge me 75 cents for half and half when I'm already paying $3 for a simple cup of mediocre drip coffee not even a latte or otherwise. And $9 for a small pastry is highway robbery.

It's cute but not special enough to warrant this kind of pricing. Why don't you just charge me $3.50 for a coffee and then not charge me 75 cents for 2 tablespoons of half and half.... it's completely insane.

Nickel and diming me. The service was so so...really honestly will probably not be back which is too bad because I was all excited this was our first time here and we wanted to support a small business but we had one turkey croissant sandwich and one coffee and one pastry and it came out to $28....

To be a patisserie it needs more work. Uneven pastries at first glance. Macaroons over baked.
Unimpressive croissant (cheap butter)

It was a shame that I was only able to visit once during my trip last year, so it's nice to be able to visit again this year.
I want to try all the desserts here, and I hope I can travel to LA again next year.

We ordered a small variety of desserts. The canelé and fraisier were fine although the latter was a bit overly sweet for my tastes. The raspberry napoleon, however, was not very crispy and felt a bit stale towards the bottom. It seems likely that it had not been made the same day it was sold. Strawberries on and in the fraisier also seemed a bit old. The price was also on the higher end and we felt the lack of freshness did not really justify the price. The flavors seem on point but the lack of freshness really drag my rating for this place down. At the very least, the coffee was fine and I appreciate that there is a decaf option.

When you step into this cafe you feel transported to Paris. Everything from the beautiful and exceptionally tasting pastries to the elegant decor just makes you feel good. It’s so hard to decide what to get but you can’t go wrong with whatever you choose . I could come here every single day . Perfect for studying or meeting up for a friend for coffee .

I came in on Saturday, May 4th to bring some dessert to a family event. I expected a nice, local bakery but this place exceeded my expectations in all areas!

Camila and the other girl working were both super patient waiting on me while I was on the phone with a family member deciding. They both know everything about their products and have the customer service skills of a Michelin star restaurant.

The price is fair for what you receive in the full experience. When I bought a small piece to sample it was plated for me with a really nice presentation.

Perfect spot to catch up with someone if you like pastries and tea/coffee.

Lucky we found this place. We stumble upon it when we drop off our kid at school. The pastries and dessert are top notch, I appreciate that everything is not American sweet and that let the ingredients shine through. Pretty much everything is of the high French pastry standard. For example, croissanta are airy, fluffy on the inside, with a crispy exterior that is sturdy. Which means the flour type, amount of butter and thickness is each layer is just right. Unlike other croissants at other places, this won't crumble when you cut it with a bread knife. Anyway, must try!P. S. Macaroons are superb.
