Oh My God!!! This place is a gem! I’ve been going there for the past year and tried about 70% of their products. They never disappoint. All pastries are so fluffy and delicious. I asked the staff about the ingredients they use (I try to avoid palm oil whenever I can). The chef uses French ingredients and no margarine or palm oil. Butter only. If you haven’t been at Berry Opera, you missed out

It was a shame that I was only able to visit once during my trip last year, so it's nice to be able to visit again this year.
I want to try all the desserts here, and I hope I can travel to LA again next year.

We ordered a small variety of desserts. The canelé and fraisier were fine although the latter was a bit overly sweet for my tastes. The raspberry napoleon, however, was not very crispy and felt a bit stale towards the bottom. It seems likely that it had not been made the same day it was sold. Strawberries on and in the fraisier also seemed a bit old. The price was also on the higher end and we felt the lack of freshness did not really justify the price. The flavors seem on point...
