This used to be hands down my favorite Italian restaurant, moreover than the much raved about bestia or colori kitchen but i can't believe how far downhill this restaurant has gotten. Their lasagna was overly salty, the pasta also wasn't as delicate and thin as before and if I didn't know it was supposed to have meat in it, I'd suspect it was a vegetarian dish considering they didn't seem to bother with the meat. My other favorite dish, the tagliano e curry, wasn't even tagliani....they basically served my spaghetti and called it tagliani. The flavoring of this dish on the other hand was super bland and...where are the scallops?? For the final whammy, they basically served me rotten tiramisu, which we were still charged for. There's no doubt the chef probably ran off during covid but this is unacceptable for a restaurant.

Simple rustic ambiance with great food. The sole piccata is one of the best I’ve ever had. The lemon and caper sauce hit a perfect balance . The tagliata con arugula was tender and perfectly grilled. The spaghetti pescatore was better than most Italian restaurants. The prosciutto and rucola pizza needed some parmesano to jazz it up. Overall, it was a good dining experience.

I love this place, it was my first time there and I felt right at home. I grew up in Italian neighborhood on the East Coast and I felt like I was back home. I dined solo, but I didn't feel like I was dining solo the owners welcomed me, checked on me and took great care of me during my dining time. On top of all the great service was even better food, I love my pastas and seafood and so far they are unmatched on the west.
