My friends and I had a great experience dining here! Our waitress was over the top kind and was so helpful. We didn't know it was taco Tuesday but she let us know and we all got tacos ($3 each and they were SO GOOD, such a steal!). We went to Aro Latin before the UCLA game at the Rose Bowl. The tacos were so delicious, we had to order another round. Margaritas were amazing. Staff was incredibly friendly. Will definitely go back!

Aro was really disappointing. Appetizers were OK, however the chips they brought for the guacamole were underwhelming. How can you get chips wrong people? Mashed potatoes were made from powder and tasted terrible. Achiote fish was undercooked. and the so called seafood paella had the consistency of a risotto, the flavors were good and the portion generous. All of the vegetables were cooked unevenly and I can't really tell if they had been previously frozen or not. I have been having tres leches cake for 40 something years and this one was, without doubt, the worst one I've ever had. Completely dry. It had probably been sitting for days. I guess that for the prices they charge, you can't have higher expectations. I would be happy to pay more if they'd step up their game and bother to boil some potatoes and mash them up.

The food and selections on the Social Hour menu are excellent, although some items can be very spicy. I enjoy spice, but my dining partner can't handle it. The server should advise patrons about particularly spicy foods. We originally were going to sit indoors. There was only a smattering of people with one woman seated at the bar talking loudly on her cell phone. The acoustics are horrible to top it off. We opted for the outdoor seating. Food and drink are definitely a 5+. We will return, but we will sit outside.

We made a reservation on mother's day for 10:30am. When we arrived it was closed and the business hours said they open 12pm Business needs to update their reservation hours

Valentines dinner. Service was great. The somm brought me two red wines ti try so I could puck my favorite. You just don't see this kind of service anymire, anywhere. Food was great too. Highly recommended location.
We stopped in for a quick bite and shared the chicken mole dish. It was sooooo good! Our server was very attentive, and was always easily findable when we needed him even though the restaurant was full.

Last time I had the tacos which were very good. This time I had the seafood enchiladas which were disappointing. They make their own yummy fresh chips and guacamole which we got again as an appetizer. The empenadas were also disappointing. They were hot and fresh but deep fried in oil that tasted bad. The portions are generous. The branzino was just ok. It was made from frozen fish.
We love the food at Aro. It's an interesting combination of Latin with some Indian spicing. The brussel sprouts are the best I've had anywhere and the cauliflower is also delicious. The chips with 3 dips are great - especially the walnut pesto. My husband loves the shrimp tacos and other fish dishes. Good wine list, yummy sangria is you're in the mood for sweet, fun wait staff.
The food was fabulous. The drinks wonderful. The wait staff and bartenders friendly and informative both about the food and the drinks. Didn't know what to expect but came away a fan. Live music on the night I went which was quite nice.

We came with "gourmet" guests from south Florida - experts on Latin food - who raved eloquently. A bit too noisy for our older generation, but not offensive. The "dove" mescal drink is marvellous.
