This is a little gem is in the heart of South Pasadena, on Mission Street. I can tell it's a busy little local spot, there were lots of people there. I like how they have a kiosk to place your order, pay, and you get a text when it's ready! I had the Hibiscus Sunrise, with lychee jelly and strawberry popping boba. It was so flavorful, so perfect! The staff was very nice and welcoming. The restroom was clean! A+++++

Boba and ramen are a Tik Tok trend I get it-100% cash in. But don’t exploit an idea without knowing its full potential and origin. A $2 bowl of nongshim noodles which can be bought at Costco in a pack of 18 for $17 and some change is sold for $5 here. Ridiculous markup. Unfriendly service. I asked for Vietnamese coffee. Which is readily available at every boba shop in Hawaii- where I live. You would have thought I committed a culture faux paux. The cashier never spoke to me during the entire interaction but once I asked for the coffee she then only acknowledged me by pointing with her lips 😂 I watched a YouTube video that called Pasadena the pretend South and I agree. Weird vibes for sure and the rate at which boba shops pop up- you can spend your money elsewhere for better service and variety.

I mobile ordered the Tiger Milk with honey boba yesterday. Arrived to pickup and as I walk in they say they are out of boba. That's totally fine, but I tell them I placed a mobile order with a drink that contains boba, to which they proceed to tell me the drink I ordered doesn't include boba in the first place (you'll see in the screenshot it's literally in the description and not the first time I've gotten it here). They didn't try to offer a refund for what was basically a $6 cup of milk...that again they claim didn't include boba for that price. I don't know if I'll come here as often as I used to and hope it was a weird one off experience, but honestly warranted a review.

The workers were rude. Seems like they hate their job. Dont work in customer service if you’re going to look miserable. This girl looked absolutely miserable to be working that night. Was not a welcoming experience at all. Then when ordering she looked so impatient, and so rushed, and there wasn’t even a line. Literally no one behind us. She just looked really annoyed to be serving us. Not a pleasant experience whatsoever. But reading the reviews I guess customers have already complained about this, maybe it’s the same girl?
We were so excited to try this new spot and try out different items on the menu. But the girl who took our order did not see happy at all to be there and brought our mood down and didn’t even want to eat our ice cream anymore
