If come here more than once you need to get your taste buds checked. Very BLAND! Which really surprises me considering it’s suppose to be Louisiana style food. It was better way before when the previous owners and cooks ran that place. So disappointed. I’m never going back there. Ever!

This was the best soul food that I ever had. It was so good, I had fried catfish. It was nice and crispy, sweet potatoes, macaroni and cheese greens. Smothered chicken peach cobbler, cornbread and corn for both me and my husband

Not worth returning the Mac n Cheese is box with out real cheese, the Fried Wings were burnt on the ends, the Tilapia Fish had no seasoning, the Corn Bread was watered down Jeffie box and the no meat greens was nothing worth mentioning. The only good thing was the Yams. I cannot recommend this Mississippi place because I don’t think the state of Mississippi would appreciate it!

I'm sure southern folks will complain about anything but the food was very tasty and indoor/ outdoor seating is great. I like the random daily specials. All southern style goodness. Will be back when I'm in the area.

The service here is top-notch, with servers who are knowledgeable and take their time to ensure everything is perfect. The food was divine! The shrimp and grits were a standout—flavorful, well-seasoned, and satisfying. The cornbread and sweet tea rounded off the meal beautifully. The restaurant had an inviting and relaxed vibe that made it feel like home.

Ordered a meal on #TooGoodToGo Sunday. Pickup was 3:30-4:00 on Monday. Drove out there from Ocean Beach. Took about 45 minutes with traffic plus $$ gas. Sign on door said closed on Monday. Called on Tuesday and explained what happened. Understanding worker I spoke with took my name & phone # said Mngr will call you back. No call. Not good.

I’m born and raised in Mississippi so I just wanted something that felt like home . I was very disappointed ! The catfish was old also the chicken had a sour taste so maybe expired . The red beans and rice is sooo not what I expected along with the potatoes ( which was whole potatoes cut in half with old friend chicken on top ) the macaroni was trash and the peach cobbler was very soupy I believe the food might have been sitting out all day n was just old .. I spend literally a 100 dollars on this food and I couldn’t even enjoy it . So disappointing
