Had some high expectations due to some good reviews and photos taken. The wife and I ordered take out and just didn’t live up to the expectations. Got a brisket plate and tri tip plate. The brisket was cut completely wrong, it was dry, it seems like they just gave us the ends that nobody really wants. They also doused it in BBQ sauce instead of letting the brisket talk for itself. The tri tip was cut sandwich meat thin, and was also super dry. The Mac and cheese tastes like noodles only, looks cheesy but no actual cheese flavor. It had potential but just missed on almost every level. The wedding beans are pretty good with good flavor, the jalapeño corn break is very moist and flavor full with just a bit of spice, the potato salad is decent, tasted like basically every other place but still good. I don’t think it’s really worth the money but yall can be the judge.

I love this place , The Beer is good and cold ! The Brisket is the best for me , nice and juices, never dry w/ just a touch of char that gives it the best taste ever ! The portions seem like there smaller but I blame covid and all the other things that have gone on in our country, like the cost of living anymore is getting bad, we feel it and I'm sure the management feels it to ! And trust me ,Phil's is good but, Cali has it beat hands down ! Thanks you guys !

So far one of the best places we've eaten at. The pulled pork sandwiches are delicious as well as the rib tip plate has a lot of meat you will not be able to finish by yourself. The county fair sandwich is very delicious and a very big portion my 9 year enjoyed it alot has Mac and cheese and smoked pulled pork all combined to make an amazing plate. As well as the Mac and cheese with jalapeños and bacon very tasty combination alongside with a nice kick thanks to the jalapeños. I highly recommend you try it so worth the money and for the portions they give so worth it as well.the side dishes have a nice portion as well sufficient for u to enjoy and if your eating here for the first time don't hesitate to ask questions the staff is very kind and friendly as well over the phone or in person the staff have a great attitude as well highly recommend cali BBQ very welcoming place and very patient and helpful as well. Will be trying the tailgater BBQ feast which has all of thier BBQ all in one plate with sides its a great plate which feeds 4 to 5 people but with the big portions I believe u can add 1 or 2 more people as you will get full and enjoy the food .

This place looked very nice from the outside, and had a hefty wait time. Once we were served, we found that our food was luke-warm and wasn't seasoned at all. Most of the sodas that we were given were flat. Overall not amazing but not horrible either.

Ordered Cali BBQ for a work lunch. We ordered 4 Tailgater BBQ Feasts which included a taste of all their meats and four sides. We also ordered macaroni salad, jalapeño corn muffins and wings. Our food was ready on time and very well packaged. We are about 20mns away and food arrived warm and presentation was on point. The sides I liked the best were Mac and Cheese, Potato Salad, baked beans and Macaroni Salad. The coleslaw wasn’t my fav. The jalapeño corn muffins were also a bit dry. The meats I couldn’t get enough of were tri tip and rib tips. OMG super delicious and tender! Everything overall was delicious and we would definitely order again. I will add that this was the first time most of us had tasted Cali BBQ and we weren’t disappointed. Will also note that the servings per feast is stated as 4-5 but the amount of food given is for a bit more which we didn’t mind at all! Thank you Cali BBQ we will definitely recommend your place and be back!
