Fantastic. Carlos was really nice owner / operator. Good jamaica that isn’t too sweet. Really liked both the barbacoa and especially the birria. They have menudo on the weekends.

I went out of my way to try El Taller de la Barbacoa/The Barbacoa Factory and it did not disappoint. Servers are warm and welcoming and the interior is lively. I was impressed by the Quesabirria Combo.... the meat is wonderfully seasoned and has a good balance of cilantro and onion. The tortilla was grilled to perfection and held the meat well. The dish comes with limes, radish, Quesabirria dipping sauce and salsa. While the salad compliments the food well, the dipping sauce is the real standout. The dipping sauce blend is so good that I wanted to ask for the recipe!

Give this place a try and you won't be disappointed. And if you can, pay with cash so this small business doesn't suffer the burden of card fees. Support our local small businesses!

The whole building is infested with cockroaches, you might wanna call the health department, the owner is very mean to the residents that live there, especially to the old lady and blind man that lives next door. I would not recommend eating here if you want cockroaches near your food.

We came for menudo and recommend this place for the menudo. The authentic Mexican flavor the owner makes is great. We also tasted had birria tacos and were impressed with the taste of the birria. Highly recommend this place!!! We will be back

This place is legit! Small restaurant tucked away in the side behind another larger Mexican restaurant. But their food is solid and the staff are so nice !

We tried de tacos de birria with a consomé on the side and were delicious! A very friendly portion too. The jamaica agua fresca was soooo good and fresh. I’ll be coming back to try more food from the menu.

Very welcoming establishment and friendly customer service. My husband and I just moved here from HI and we are glad we found this place near our apartment and i ordered the birria grilled cheese with fries. Recommend and will definitely come back.

Best Birria De Res Quesadilla and Birria machaca like grandmas home made cooking. Their salsa was fresh, tasty and oh so spicy, my hubby was obsessed with it. I enjoyed the red salsa, less spice and full of roasted flavors. Big filling portions and great customer service. We will be returning again & I look forward to trying more dishes in the near future.
