Jersey Mike's Subs

Javier the Lead refused to give me a full refund. Then told me the only thing he could do is provide me with a remake.
So here's the situation: I am working a 16 hour shift in a law enforcement capacity and my wife calls in an order and ask for a sandwhich with extra meat and on the grill with Chipotle Mayo. The sandwich was ice cold and the Chipotle mayo was non existent and the extra meat was only regular meat.

The phone call: My wife calls to report the problem and is put on hold then Javier answers she states the problem and he the begins to argue that we didnt order on the grill and that he remembers putting on the Chipotle mayo himself and that per policy extra meat is only 1 more slice of meat. Haha so he makes excuses for his incompetence and basically calls me and my wife liars. I then get on the phone as it was on speaker phone and I demand a full refund. He says no he cant. But says he can do a remake. I tell him no thanks I want a full refund. This petty individual then tells me ok I can give you a partial refund but I refuse to give you the extra meat refund. I say this is absurd I will need to speak to your upper management because this is ridiculous. He said go ahead. I said OK I will.
This sandwhich was definitely not Mike's way. It was JAVIERS WAY. And that sandwhich tasted like a cold subway sandwich. Horrible service and garbage food.
By the way we have both copies of the order receipt. Javier was trying to tell us that he didnt write on the receipt on the grill because we never asked for it we told him we have both copies with us and its your handwriting. Incompetence
My wife even left a tip. SMDH

7:40 pm August 8th 2025. I'm visiting from out of state and I'm a Jersey Mike's regular, the ladys working tonight were excellent. They kept things going when busy keeping their stations maintained and clean. They were kind and courteous the whole time and did it all right. I actually enjoyed the wait.

For some reason this location is the only location in San Diego that has poor customer service and also poor portions. I usually go to lakeside location and it’s actually much better. Portions and customer service too.

The people here are the best! This is my fave location.
Super nice & professional! The sandwiches are delish! My faves are the California Club & Famous Philly with Portabella cheesesteak. I💜 their rosemary Parm bread. Yum! Their red relish is also so good on any sandwich! Enjoy!

First-time coming to this jersey Mike's subs located at spring valley. I order a Philly cheese steak sandwich 🥪. Paid for it and when I got home, and opened the bag. My sandwich was full of onions and mushrooms. NO MEAT 🥩 was added to the Philly cheese steak sandwich. It was horrible! I couldn't drive a long distance to complaint to them about the wrong Ordered they put into my bag. They need a A.I. to take orders from customers. Because these workers don't understand the English language! I will not come here again.
