Ranas is the best! The food is so great; the people are so nice; and the drinks are cheap and delicious. The tricolor mole enchiladas (see picture below) are fantastic—really complex flavors. And the pambazo is a torta meets a wet burrito; they’re my favorites.

Ranas was a pleasant treat located in Spring Valley. My friend mentioned this spot and it hit the spot for breakfast. I ordered the rajas con huevos as well as the pambazo that had chorizo and potatoes. The flavors for the pambazo really popped and hit all the right notes. The rajas con huevos was also delicious and tasted fresh. The customer service was great, the seating area was clean and the patio area was a nice bonus as well. I will definitely be back! Eat up!!!

Holy mole! What an experience. I am so happy we found this place! This little unassuming location in a not so fancy shopping center has the best food I've had in a long time. It was so good I scarfed it down before I even got a photo on my next trip which won't be long I will be taking lots of photos the place is clean the staff is incredibly friendly helpful and caring this is kind of like going to that Mexican home away from home. Being from Texas, I'm not really used to having any kind of good customer service in California. but there are those rare examples of great customer service, and this is one of them. I highly recommend this place if for no other reason the food, but this is the total package...It's been a while a few trips back, still loving the place. My wife totally loves the tortas, and I am totally addicted to the Ranas! I would highly recommend this place if you're anywhere in the area worth the drive

Came here for the first time today for dinner.Had the tricolor enchiladas. They were very good. The churros with ice cream were also good.There was only one waitress/hostess. She was very good and very friendly.I thought it was really sweet one of the cooks was playing peekaboo with my toddler from the order window. ? It's too bad my son was delayed in reciprocating and played peekaboo after the cook had already gone back to work on more orders. ?I would come back here to try more of their yummy food.
Vegetarian options: They have cactus or cheese options.I'm interested in trying the squash blossoms.
Kid-friendliness: Welcoming of little children.

The food is hot , delicious, on time and good quality I’m Mexican on is hard to find a place like Mexico , but ranas is my perfect place . The place is clean , good decoration and comfy. We went last night in the pouring rain to get some of the best Mexican food I have ever had. My daughter, daughter in law, mom, husband & I had a great time. Excellent service, the servers were awesome. Cant wait to go again.
