I have been coming here for 10 plus years and I always order the Surf and Turf and to be honest I’ve been coming less. Reason number #1 is they started putting less portions in there surf and turfs I know this because before I would struggle eating one and now I can eat all of it. Reason #2 there is less guac and sour cream inside the burrito. Reason #3 if you want better and bigger burritos come at night not in the day time. It’s not drastically more but it’s better than the day shift crew. Even though prices came up over the years at least be consistent for portions sizes Mrs. Saritas I know this because in day time you get a skinny long surf and turf and night time you get a little fatter surf and turf. Not like before were you guys were known for the best and biggest now it’s not even that any more. I do order from time to time to see anything has changed but nothing changed and I hope this review will let the owner know portions have gotten smaller and stop putting less guac and sour cream inside the burritos. I should have some in every bite not the last bite of the burrito or a specific spot in the burrito because most of it dry but what helps is the chipotle sauce. I order the surf and turf with cabeza so the cashiers know who I am because not many order it like that. Cabeza is good no complaints and chipotle is amazing. Please go back to how you guys used to be I go less now because of it. There are tik tok and instagram review videos addressing these issues and receiving a low score. Please have a meeting with all shifts and adjust portions to more like it used to be. I hope this complaint or review helps with the owner think about it because just like there’s video reviews on your taco shop there’s other reviews of other taco shops and I’ve been spending my money else where and trust me I used to drive 30 minutes for your burrito I live in Chula Vista and now I go less to your taco shop. The photo that looks like it tried is santanas. I used to go to saritas back in the day, it was always the neighborhood favorite, i recently moved back to spring valley and it seems like saritas doesn't care about the quality anymore. The photos speaks for it self

Food is great here, want some advice? If you don't plan to eat there call ahead of time because you will be waiting up about 15 - 20 minutes that's how good the food is.

First time here order was wrong, meat was way over cooked burritos had no picó. We said one with one without. I asked for a hard shell asada taco, got a soft taco. So disappointed! Most likely won’t be back! Salsa was decent.

I tried calling an order for 6 carne asada burritos for pick up at 11:30am. The lady did not understand the pick up time and kept getting the pick up time wrong after repeating my self 6 times. When i finally speak english and raise my voice she hangs up on me. I called back many times she did not answer and when she did she hung up on me twice and she refused to take my order and told me to go somewhere else.

This place is my favorite restaurant in all of California. I cannot get Mexican food like this on the east coast. It’s delicious, authentic, perfection. The woman that was at the register there last time we went, I didn’t get her name, but she’s a great mom and made us feel so welcome there. My four year old kept asking questions and she was so kind and patient with him. We truly appreciate you all so much. Keep up the good work! I miss your hot sauce so much 😭🫶🌶️🥑🍅

This place is hands down my favorite burrito spot in San Diego, maybe even ever! Their California burritos are packed with flavor, perfectly balanced with crispy fries, juicy carne asada, and creamy guac. The Surf and Turf burritos are on another level, MASSIVE! tender asada, buttery shrimp wrapped up in a warm tortilla that melts together with every bite. The carne asada fries are loaded and indulgent, with just the right amount of crunch and melt-in-your-mouth goodness. Even their breakfast burritos taste like a hug in the morning. And don’t even get me started on their salsas… smoky, spicy, tangy, each one adds its own punch and keeps you reaching for more.
This spot is my go-to every single time, and I’m already craving it again right now!
Hey Guys! I am not big on taco shops. I like to cook. But when cooking dinner is not a option.....this is one of the places I go. The food has flavor, its hot and they are working hard to get your food out to younwith out a long wait. They are close, great hours...they are a 5 star for me. Check them out!

Great food! Pretty inconsistent but still our home taco shop. Sometimes the fries will be crunchy sometimes not. Sometimes you get plenty of salsa, sometimes not. Either way! This is our home taco shop and we love it.
Highly recommend the Surf and turf burrito(enough for 2), carne asada fries(enough for 4), and the Saritas fries which is basically carne fries with shrimp and chipotle.
Please don’t be coming in here with some crazy order i.e. hold the cheese but add Oaxaca cheese, Jamaica little ice, or trying to order a Crunchwrap supreme. They move fast and we tryna eat.

Extremely rude to me and my girlfriend. He would not give her the order because it was a man’s name. I stood there for 20 minutes before someone helped me. They were also rude to the young man next to me who wanted one salsa with his meal. Food was nothing special. Will not be going back and highly recommend not giving them your business
