The service was very professional, the server knew the menu well and made great recommendations. She brought us delicious salsa and chips right away, gave us a menu and took our drink orders. When she came back with our drinks she took our food order. All with a beautiful smile on her face. We loved dining on the deck looking at the view watching the cars go by. The food was amazing and so were the prices. I love this place. Enjoy the peaceful drive up to to the foothill town of Springville CA and have great Mexican food here.

I had the chicken chimichanga and it was delicious. Their salsa and the Porterville location's is the best I've had and I'm a big fan of Mexican restaurants. They have good service and hours. They're open in Sundays and closed on Mondays. I like their outdoor deck and atmosphere.

I really enjoy the El Tap restaurant in Porterville, CA!! Huge portions & great prices. The restaurant is always busy, usually full recaude the service is good & the food is great!

They are not tortilla chips, they are taco shells you break yourself. They were tasteless. Salsa was mediocre. Chile Relleno was terrible. We enjoyed sitting outside.

Me and my family would drive up eat here food was pretty okay but sadly today we drove up all the way from visalia today to eat checked the time said open till 8 we get all the way there at 230 lady told us they were closed even though come to find out they close at 3 now no prior warning I yous to recommend folks to drive up but after today especially after being turned away at 230 before 3 I'll tell folks dint waist your time these folks have zero consideration for you or your time so that will be our last visit to this one and porterville one as well no thanks to that kind of service

Went for lunch, our server almost seemed like we were bothering her, she was very happy to speak to everyone else there but dismissed us and sorta talked to us like we were d**** The chile verde was more brown than green, we definitely aren't returning here any time soon.

My friend and I stopped for a kate lunch; the food was absolutely delicious and the server was friendly and considerate. We had the nachos with chicken, and the chicken was cooked to perfection and had a delicious flavor. These were no ordinary nachos (nachos with mostly chips), these were drenched with melted cheese and flavorful toppings. It’s worth the drive to Springville just to eat at El Tapatia!
