Came here on a weekend to meet with old college friends. We ordered coffee and a meal and sat at the table nearby. I got one of the Chais (the first Chai on the menu) and liked it as always. Beef arepa was new to me, and I think it's pretty decent. I like how the shop is now decorated with Christmas ornaments, and it feels really good to sit and chat casually with good food/coffee/tea and friends as company!

I love Coupa!!! They have a great menu with quality, tasty food. For salads I like the Beverly Hills chopped salad, the paninis and wraps are great (e.g. bacon club panini), and their matcha lattes are always on point! The staff are always friendly and prepare the food with care, and the open outdoors seating and environment in front of Green Library the heart of Stanford campus are warm and beautiful!

We were visiting Stanford University for a global conference, and this spot was great for sharing ideas with my colleagues.

When I was in undergrad (2001-2005), this coffee spot was run by a place called "Moonbeans." The coffee was barely drinkable, expensive, and the food options were largely limited to stale bagels. Coupa is a huge step up - the coffee is quite good, and the food options are greatly expanded. I'm not a huge fan of their tacos (which cost 3x as much as a taco in nearby RWC or EPA and are not particularly flavorful), but their pastries are great and they have a variety of fresh foods and smoothies that make them one of the tastier spots on campus to eat. Their smoothies are particularly good - the matcha smoothie is my favorite: creamy from almond milk, great matcha flavor, and not too sweet. Coupa's spicy hot chocolate and spicy mochas are the best versions of the form I have found anywhere, a nod to their flagship store's dual role as a chocolatier. Their app ordering system is a little buggy but largely genius. I love being able to submit and pay for my order from my office and pick it up in half the time it takes to wait in line. They also periodically have deals and incentives (like a free drink on your birthday, reward points, etc). The folks who work here are awesome. All in all, the best food and drink in the area is off campus, but Coupa has been a great addition to the Stanford scene.

cocky attitude and indifference to customer service issues caught my attention and hence drafting of this review on their behalf.

Tried to get a quick bite of lunch here, and they got my order completely wrong not once, but twice. Also wanted to make sure there was no dairy in my beverage that was supposed to have oat milk, and was told to try and tell them if it was right, and then didn't get a straight answer - definitely not what you want to experience if you have allergies or food restrictions (or on general)!

I was tipped off by a friend to come here and try out their Green Matcha Smoothie, and I have to say... It was one of the best smoothies I've ever had. First off, it's not too sweet (ahem, Jamba Juice listen up). The matcha flavor is balanced out by the light almond and mango flavor really well. Best of all, it's got spinach, so it's totally healthy right?? To top it all off, on a bright summer afternoon, you can sit around the cafe catching a light breeze, enjoying the view of the library, and imagining what it would be like to be smart enough to go to Stanford. Sip. Sip. It must be the smoothie.

I think maybe something is wrong with their QR system or they simply lost my order. Waited thirty minutes for some avocado toast while other patrons came and went. Don't usually do Yelp reviews but wanted to warn against coming here if you're in a hurry.

I really have a soft spot for coupa. Their items are often overpriced especially the food. However the people there are great and the coffee is worth it.

9/28/2020- Coupa Cafe has been my favorite study spot outside of my dorm! The atmosphere inside the business school is calming, the food is great, and there's plenty of shaded seating. Oven-roasted turkey panini (ciabatta, Dijon mustard, garlic aioli, spinach, tomato, avocado, turkey, and swiss cheese): Probably my favorite sandwich here! Good balance of vegetables to protein and ciabatta was warm/toasted. Comes with a fresh side salad. Mediterranean panini (ciabatta, nut-free pesto, mixed greens, sun dried tomato, grilled chicken, and mozzarella cheese): Also a delicious panini but I have to say I like the turkey better. Flavors were savory but there's not as many greens in this sandwich so you don't get a good balance of crunch texture. Still a great pick! Also comes with a small side salad. Note that you can add/replace the original ingredient pairings with others of your liking (extra cost). I'll be coming back to try the smoothies and coffees next! Great cafe overall.

Go to coffee spot - very convenient. Always go for the cappuccino or late and carrot cake.

We stopped by and got a beverage at Coupa Cafe at Stanford University. Its an outdoor cafe with seating. The location is nice.

Such a fun place to go on the weekend. I went here with my sister and her family which included a 3 year old child. She was able to play in the open quad area next to the cafe. They have great outdoor seating. The portions are very generous and filling. The preparation is amazing and they also pay attention to detail with regards to the presentation of the food. What I liked the most was the friendly warm and inviting demeanor of all of the staff. They were patient with questions and went out of their way to make you feel welcome.

When it comes to food on campus, Stanford doesn't really shine. Coupa Cafe is an example of one of the many establishments that falls short. Brewed coffee is generally not very good, which is a shame because of the proximity to fantastic roasteries and coffee shops in the Bay area. Drinks are also pretty overpriced for what they are. Food isn't really their strong suit either. I would personally skip the sandwiches and head to a dining hall because, well, at least you'd be getting more bang for your buck. Most of their options are pretty bland, and again, overpriced. Skip the quesadillas and salads for sure. I don't know who is okay paying $10 for a skimpish salad with just some greens and next to no dressing. Who are you? Sassiness aside...their happy hour deals are pretty solid. I would recommend coming here for a glass of wine after classes. Outdoor seating area in the GSB is beautiful and a great place to unwind. Just skip the coffee and food.

I just stood for five full minutes -- with no one in front of me in line -- while four people had their backs to me behind the counter. Don't give these people your money.
