Food is good, usually food served pretty quick. Just kind of a boring atmosphere

Great quality, but the value isn't there given the tiny serving sizes.

Fish are fresh but extremely small portion, I've never had such a tiny sushi before. Sushi rice is another big problem, way too much vinegar, so smells like it's spoiled n took away the taste of the fish

Well, I was hoping this place would be great but sadly it was not. Went in for dinner a few weeks back and I mentioned I have a wheat allergy and they said they could accommodate.
Sadly when I got my second serving of the spicy crunchy tuna, I noticed there was a flower I Haven't had in 5 years. It was soy sauce, the waiter forgot to remind the chef about my allergy. Had a reaction pretty quick but took my meds and didnt have to go to the hospital but I was out for the night. Place was empty so I couldn't even say that the waiter forgot since it was busy. Nope, they were just vibing at the front doing nothing so I can't excuse them. There wasn't more then 3 tables.
Besides that, the food was I dunno, not very appealing. My partner ordered something with lobster and they brought in some rolls covered and I mean covered in mayo. I don't even think it was kewpi
Sigh, I really wanted this place to work out but sadly we will never be going back again.
Someone with a celiac, wheat allergy shouldn't eat here but go if you need affordable sushi. Just be aware you are getting exactly the quality you are paying for

1/14/2026 - Ananto Sushi in Stevenson Ranch was open one year ago and is a hidden gem in a neighborhood of Los Angeles.
You will be impressed with its daily Omakase offering with fresh raw dishes, in addition to a great presentation - see the uploaded short videos for your reference.
The owner is also chef, who worked for an upscale Japanese Omacase restaurant in Beverly Hills for many years before opening his own upscale Sushi restaurant one year ago.
There are ample big parking lot in front of the restaurant for free!

The best Gyoza I’ve ever had, hands down. Gee is wonderful & accommodates my requests, always with positivity. Kaarage chicken is awesome, garlic edamame is fantastic. So far, everything is delightful.

Tiny spot but powerful good sushi. Ordered a giant mixed platter for a party and it proved to be a killer plate for everyone.
Great service from super nice folks.

FRESH FRESH FRESH
My husband and I were extremely taken care of when we came to eat here. It was our first time today but definitely not our last. We sat at the bar and the chef was amazing. We tried the Kit Roll and it was phenomenal. It was the perfect amount of spicy level too. The vibes where awesome, we will for sure be back for more!!
