Used to be my all time fave place. But I guess once you become a popular spot service goes down hill. Sat waiting a good 20 min or longer just for some to even say hey I’ll be right w you. Didn’t happen. I walked out. Sad.

Stopped here on our way home from a conference in LA. I was surprised at the size of their menu and their beer selection. I like very dark beers and they had a Porter that fit the bill--unusual to just stop in and find. The portions were more than we could eat, really, and you have to get the tater tots, not fries. My wife got bbq sliders and they were great, but she really loved the fried pickles! This was Super Bowl Sunday, just before the game, and the place was filling up, but we seated quickly and our server was great. It was a tad noisy, but I would expect that. Because we often pit-stop for gas near here, I am sure we'll be back. A cool bonus for locals is they have a number of specials through the week and support charities with food and merch sales.

I ordered the chicken pesto penne because it was listed as a popular order on DoorDash. What a mistake! I don’t know what sauce they actually put on my pasta, but it sure as hell wasn’t pesto. It wasn’t even green! I know it was the right dish though because the sauce had little bits of basil in it and the rest of the dish matched the description. Look up a damn pesto recipe. Pesto is made of basil, olive oil, pine nuts, garlic, lemon juice, and parm or similar cheese. AND NOTHING ELSE. I’m not sure any of these ingredients were even in the sauce aside from little specks of basil.
To add insult to injury, they don’t even do garlic bread right. Bread was super dry, spongy instead of toasty, and covered with a thick layer of cheese.
I make much better versions of all the above at home. This was just embarrassing
