Cold wind on patio. Heaters were on timers and turned off halfway through meal.

The location, food, and atmosphere were good, but they charged me a 36% tip on my bill. The charge arrived the day after I arrived.
That's why I don't recommend it.

It was very sad the way things are going this world. I just want to start off by saying that my family and myself felt really uncomfortable at Wood Ranch barbque in Stevenson Ranch, CA. I had made reservations for my family party of 8. On March 15, 2025 at 4:15 pm. It was special day for us. We arrived a little early around 3:50 pm and was told by three ladies that worked the front desk that we were too early and will be seated closer to our reservations. So we waited people would come in with a family of 6 people that did not have reservations i can hear them saying they did not have reservations and was seated right away. So around 4:05pm I asked again can we be seated now it was cold outside she looked at me and said no wait 5 more minutes. So we had to wait. And when we were called to be seated we where taking in room that was pretty much outside in a covered area and the whole area was empty we where sat in the side it was a little cold. I can't understand if that room was all by itself all the time we had to wait to be seated.

I felt treat different then the other guest. And yes we were Mexicans. The waitress was nice she was the only was that treated us like a guest. The food was good. But it was sad 😔 that we were treated different. I guess Wood Ranch treats other people different.

My family had never been there so I told them it's a good place. But it change. We will never go back again.

Wood Ranch needs to have workers that need to treat all quest the same.

Very disrespectful and disappointed.

NEVER AGAIN!!

Normally I love this restaurant. Today was a series of mistakes that really ruined the meal for me. First I parked in the pick up spot so I could place an order online because I use a wheelchair and assembling it and going inside and then carrying out a bag of food is very draining. The menue is difficult and it was taking me some time. An employee came out and tried to rush me along asking my name over and over. Once she left i continued to order and then she came out yet again to rush me along. When I finally got through the convoluted online menu my order would not submit. So begrudgingly I unloaded my wheelchair and went inside to order. I showed the employee my screenshot from my online order thinking this would surely make my order correct. The first was my mistake when I didn't realize the substitution wasn't in the screenshot. So I called the restaurant from my car to let them know only minutes after ordering. The first lady transferred me and the second said they would tell the cooks and abruptly hung up. I took a deep breath and waited. A male employee came out with a bag. I asked if they were able to substitute. He said yes. "OK, thank you so much." I said. Then he was gone and I looked in the bag. It was missing the bbq sauce(essential) and there was a pulled pork sandwich in place of my order of just pulled pork. So I got my chair out yet again and went inside. They got to work fixing it but a male employee from the kitchen didn't seem happy about it making me worry about what he might be doing to my food. He brought it back and it was just the pulled pork. The other employee put 4 tiny containers of sauce. I had ordered 3 different kinds and large ones. I didn't have it in me to tell them it was still wrong. I left tired and disappointed with a very expensive order gone wrong. Oh, and the corn was so old it tasted like it had been picked fresh in Nebraska last year before first frost only now arriving to be placed on a grill and served chared.

Wheelchair accessibility: It would be great if I could order and pick up from my car. Unfortunately I had to go inside twice.

Called to check wait time for a party of 2 and hostess said she'll transfer me to another line. Waited a couple of minutes, same hostess picks up line again and says "sorry, I thought I transferred the call." Hostess proceeds to put me back on hold and after waiting for a few minutes, the line goes dead.

Great atmosphere good time with friends. I had the tri tip but wish I had tried something else. Will only serve medium. Which came out well done. Heard later they are precooked which might explain it. I thought about sending it back. But it was ok

food was fine, the hostesses need to stop yapping and being disrespectful to customers when they just walk in!! our server was nice but the second we walked in the rude girls at front ruined the experience

The food is delicious, but they often lose takeout orders and we end up picking up the order cold.

We were sat right by the kitchen so it was pretty noisy. The food was good. Our waitress Alexia was very good.

Don’t get the tri tip it’s literally microwaved meat. Also, they don’t take out of state IDs if you’re planning on having family from out of town who wants to drink.

Good food and service. Entry is the worst possible design. Everything is unnecessarily crowded. Whatever architect they used should have their license taken away.

Expensive but good. Onion rings as a starter are a must but so messy! I like to sit in the bar as the ambience is so nice there. Don't forget the garlic rolls too! Food always good.

Probably the best BBq in California right now. Wasn’t impressed with famous Dave’s last time and tried this place. Price range is actually little cheaper than places like famous Dave’s and Outback. I bought a lunch slider set and the portions were not small. 20$ and I got two sliders yams and a salad. I shared it with my mom and we even had leftover salad and yams. The sliders are just the right amount not to make you overfull and I like that they have different size options for meals sick as different rib sets. The cherry bbq sauce is amazing and everything is tender. Best garlic buns around. Only bad thing is they charged 4.75$ for a not so big tea and it wasn’t very good like the filters for the fruit drinks mixed in with u sweetened. Also forgot the utensils I requested on pickup order. That was the one star deduction for service.
