I came here with a friend in order to take a break from the heat and grab some food during our time in Death Valley. Let me tell you the food here is really good. I got the salmon and my friend got the arugula salad. Both plates were fresh and very tasty. My salmon was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The options were very limited because the facility is still under construction (no water, only soda, and they have no restrooms). However you can eat and stay cool for a bit, the atmosphere is nice!
Honestly a great place with great service. Stopped here twice on our tour, once they didn’t have power so they had Power Out Special - basic ham or turkey sandwich with a soda and chips for $10 cash. Hit the spot between hikes. Second time they had power and the food was great. Burgers were solid, chicken wrap was filling, and the turkey sandwich was legit. Highly recommend, great for families.
