I've been coming to Babs since I moved here in '02 and haven't been in about a year. Still great food and huge portions....but geeze!!! $20/plate for breakfast is a bit hard to swallow. Again...the portions are large...just expect to pay for it. Our server was very friendly and quick.

I’m really not hard to please especially with food but this one somehow stick out like a sore thumb as far as not tasting very good. We came early little after 8:30 am before 9 am. Country potatoes and corned beef was toasty to burnt. The bitterness was there with every bite, along with the flavor of old fry oil. Loco-Moco was old patty from the day or two before, it was leather tough. Toast and coffee is what you’d expect from a diner. Before we ordered I noticed their prices were high. Gave the benefit of the doubt and thought, well damn maybe it’s that good and or big servings like Black Bear Diner.
Service was great, food was not. Tipped more than 20%
Cannot understand the rating of 4.6 stars with Bab’s. There were plenty of people coming in to eat here while we were there.

I've been going to bad for years and it's always great cooked well prepared I've never complained about the food it's great. Today me and my friend who Has only gone to Babs once. We went to eat breakfast after our dialysis session. We were waiting on Lilly Her attitude and her attention to us was amazing we were feeling too good but just her energy enjoy brought us way up and We enjoyed her company her service the food and good conversation it's definitely a place you should go. And hopefully you'll get Lilly. She will definitely brighten your day. 5 stars

We have ordered Babs forever and always had it delivered to the house. This was the first time eating there in person. We had to wait about 20-30 minutes to get a table, but it was worth it. We sat at a 2 person table right by the back door looking out to the Delta, not the greatest seats, but we wanted whatever came up first, inside or outside. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful and her service was great. I got chicken and waffles and waffle was a bit dry, but lots of syrup helped, although I would recommend sugar free syrup if they have it. The other order was the Chicken egg white omelette ( chicken, spinach, onions and cheese)was very delicious, but only dine in.

Disappointed. I use to frequent this diner long ago when Babs herself ran it. I hadn’t been in many years . My Chile omelette lacked flavor , the homemade chili tasted very much canned, and the cheddar cheese was not there . Did that sell the place ?? Won’t be back.
