A friend and I visited this place for breakfast. The customer service was very friendly. My friend and I both ordered orange juice and the waffle combo. The prices we thought were a little high. The food was about a four I felt my waffle was a little rubbery. I had two sausage patties and scrambled eggs those were okay. I would return here again as the service was pleasant and you can get a decent breakfast . Next time I will try their pancakes.

Been here a few times. The food is pretty good it’s the service that can be quite hit or miss. Came in once and although seated immediately it took almost 10 minutes for our server to come bring us menus and continued lagging from there. He never came back to check on us after the food took quite a while to come out. Another time in a different section with a different server he also wasn’t very attentive and took a while to bring things we requested (butter, ranch for fries, etc). Overall the food is good but unless you have the time to wait you may want to go elsewhere although I do highly recommend the BLT & fries

EDIT: Just received a bank notification that my original total for my visit was $11.10....they "updated" the total to $14.10! I tipped my server with cash at the front podium where I paid my bill. I'll be stopping by later today to speak with management after I pick up my car from the repair shop. I will definitely not be back.
My car was being repaired around the corner and instead of walking to familiar restaurants in the area, I decided to give Maple Bar a try.
Cute place with a chill atmosphere. I was sat quickly and the server was friendly.
The first thing I noticed was the exorbitant prices. You'd think you were sitting off a seaside pier in San Francisco....wow.
I chose a simple mac n' cheese and it tasted odd. I can't pinpoint the exact flavor, but it was awful. The couple seated beside me apparently noticed the displeasure on face and asked how my food was. It didn't seem like they were too impressed with their meal either.
I ended up asking my server for a side dish of the country potatoes instead. Just got home and tasted them. They're not bad, but they're nothing special.
I would like to give this place another chance in the future, but to be frank, $30 bucks for breakfast is steep in this economy. I wouldn't mind splurging if I felt confident that the food served would be worth the money spent.

We (Table of 3) were served by Oscar. He did a fantastic job of giving us time to order, attending to us after we did order, adjusting to fit meal preferences and dietary restrictions, checking in before taking his break, and getting us any additional asks. Very impressed.

Great place to eat. We were the first in today. Portions are large seemed a little pricey. The Spanish flavor on the potatoes was unexpected. I'd eat here again though.

Great Mimosa and portion type.
Hospitality. Generous portions. Local Hawaiian brunch options. My filipino-hawaiian family loved this place. My dad had loco moco. My aunties had the corned beef hash. You have to ask for rice over toast, but the wait staff were happy to accommodate. I have an MSG/Yeast Extract sensitivity and nothing had it. So I was able to enjoy everything. The cinnamon roll french toast was delicious as were the regular French toast.
We ordered a bunch of dishes and had them all family style, sharing with all my cousin's. We were a large party... and several were late but the wait staff rolled with it and just moved our tables as our party shrank and grew. Very thankful for that as we were all visiting from all around the country. They definitely made us feel welcome.
And shout out to the Filipina barrister at the Starbucks near our hotel who recommended this place. She was spot on after hearing us talking about what we should do for brunch and learning were Filipino from Hawaii.
