I use to like the fried Tilapia from here but today it was missing lime, tapatillo and before they gave 3 tortillas and I only got 2. Also the fish was bigger before.

The food was pretty bland. The torta tasted like salt, beans, and bread. I couldn't taste the meat. The quesadilla had the aftertaste of fabuloso (the cleaner). Serving size deceivingly large, pitifully underwhelming. Amazing service, there was a small band, however, will not be returning.

Had the menudo there and it was very good the only downside was they don't put hominy in it.

Looking for good Mexican food on Sunset Ave? Look no further. Cool, heavy leather atmosphere, generous portions and good chips. I like hot salsa and it could have been spicier but this will appeal to most palates. The wet chicken burrito was generous with the chicken. Live music on a Sunday night. Who could ask for more? Good place for family too.

The food is amazing, the atmosphere is great. The winner is the food. These are the best tortas I’ve ever had in SFV

The food was so delicious! My children loved it and they’re very picky. My wife love the food as well and we had an amazing time here.

Monday night and place was packed! Conversation plus live music. Servers work hard, replenishing water, tortillas and salsa in addition to taking orders and delivering food to the tables and booths. We ordered a mixed plate to share (steak, beef taco, the usual sides of guacamole, beans and rice) and a delicious vegetarian enchilada loaded with sweet bell peppers (plus salad, rice and beans). Booths are great. Comfy banquettes. Generous servings. Spend a little or a lot. The only thing I found odd was the cocktails and wines list did not have any prices. I’m a visitor to LA so maybe it’s not unusual.

Good Food. Excellent prices, and services. The owner is a big local school supporter.

Stopped by for a meal while on a road trip. Serving size was good but the food was bland. There was karaoke so the atmosphere was ok but probably won't be back.
