Lassen's Steaks and El Tepeyac Grille

We had three in our party for brunch. One person got there meal and finished it before the other two got there food. There was only one other party in the restaurant.

Service was unprofessional, amd slow.
We ordered an enchilada and a steak sandwich and didn’t even finish it.
Ended up getting sick from the steak sandwich.
Not sure why this place is still in business.

Wish I could leave zero stars.. This place was awful and the food was disgusting!. I will not be back…

Well, the food (ranchero shrimp) was good but they were not able to serve my order (fish tacos). Then, they didn't have the rum soda.
Service was good. The staff is friendly and professional.

Not the place is used be odd fibe inside. Baby pin in the corner and you smoke rolling out of the kitchen filling the day care I mean restaurant. Place your order at the cashier register and find a clean table…

Good food but rib steak full of fat content ,slow service,baked potato great , veggies tastes like from a can this side of restaurant was the steak side ,not the Mexican restaurant on the other side

Excellent authentic mexican food. I've traveled Mexico and lived in Socal all my life, I know good mexican food when I have it and this is it. When they brought me fresh homemade corn tortillas, I could tell everything was going to be good and it was. We've had breakfast and dinner, both excellent.

I ate tacos on the resteraunt side. And then after that I went and got my dog. The owner was waiting at the door when I got back and wanted to know why I needed my dog. So to dispels any concern I explained it. The I went to the bar side and I felt very uncomfortable. There was a blonde haired lady who frequents this place and she kept calling me an outsider. They did last call so I ordered another drink. And this blade haired lady kept constantly berating me so I left without even starting my final drink. Horrible experience I would no recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Ms. Esther is a gracious hostess/owner that has wonderful staff and recipes. We own a hotel and restaurant in Sonora, Mexico, old Mexico and this place feels and tastes like home. The pazole and burrito were excellent.

Undercooked soggy fries, pattymelt was not grilled properly also a soggy mess, onions were barley grilled and tough. The burger bled all over the bread as it was also undercooked. Absolute junk!

Called the restaraunt and put in a complaint and she rudely advised me that the cook has been there for 17 years and knows what he is doing.
This will explain all the horrible reviews I've read online.
Don't waste your time or money or you will probably get food poisoning from this undercooked soggy mess.

We were travelling through and wanted breakfast. The machaca breakfast was delicious. I ate it before I could take a picture. Coffee and Orange juice are fresh and delicious too. They do a lot of take out, so the restaurant was quiet, but the staff were friendly and provide excellent customer service.
