I've only had one experience with this establishment and even though I have no doubt their overall menu is probably outstanding, I was not impressed with my large garlic pizza.
While it definitely is overwhelming with garlic as advertised (which is why I chose this particular pizza), it sat too long in the oven so the crust burnt which resulted in a base that was drier than fossil dirt.
Overcooking the pizza changed the garlic flavor which is never good. I'm Sicilian so trust me when I say this of garlic: it should never sit too long in an oven! The Allicin is degraded and the molecules are changed which then saturate in overpowering and bitter flavor! It ruins the garlic which ruins your meal. Then add a burnt crust and your meal is choked down instead of enjoyed.
I should have taken it back and had them redo it, but whose got time for that when your hot, hungry and done for the day?
My experience won't detour from my eating there in the future, but next time I will check my food before leaving. I shouldn't have to, but here we are.
The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable with two flat screen TVs, and several booths for dinning in; the parking lot sucks and I'm not sure if there is street parking or not (I didn't pay that much attention).
For the size of the town, I would say this is a pretty decent place to eat with above average food and portions. The menu is vast and appetizing; I'm sure Red Hut Pizza has something for everyone, just make sure your meal is not burned 😉

We really made an honest effort with this place, we tried them multiple times over the last year or so, with varying results, some definitely overcooked crust around the edges multiple times, but we were patient thinking they were new and figuring out their oven still. I have to say, I LOVE brick oven pizza, but this has never stacked up with any other brick oven pizzas I've had, not sure what's up with that. And their dried Italian seasoning on top of the pizza is kinda weird for me, but that's my opinion/preference.
This most recent dine-in experience my main issue was service. To be 100% clear, the people are very nice, I'm not complaining at all about them being rude, they just don't really provide any service. They do, however, prompt for tip during card payment, which usually suggests you will get some level of service, so I tipped. From that point on, you get your own pizza from the window (only dine-in pizza place I've ever been where they won't even bring it to the table for you), walk up to get your own drink refills, and then bus your own table, so what was I tipping for? Their service is less than some fast food chains, who send you with a number and bring your food to the table. Felt a bit duped being prompted for a tip when they didn't even provide that minimal level of service.
The real deal breaker though for me was having to negotiate for a pizza box that actually fit the full large pizza I had leftover. I bought 2 large pizzas for only 2 people, specifically planning for leftovers. They made the situation awkward, trying to give me a medium box and offering "foil for whatever doesn't fit". I did finally convince them to give me a large box, and they were polite through the whole ordeal, but it's still an unnecessary awkward experience I don't want to be subjected to again. I'll take my money elsewhere, none of the other pizza places in town have done that to me, and the pizza here is no better, just on par (on their good days). I really wanted to like this place too.

Worst wings ever, swimming in hot, bbq sauce, not cooked on and clearly just buffalo wings, no bbq flavor. Got no response to our complaint that they were inedible. Cook and staff made no effort to make good. Said we'd never be back. Clearly they didn't care.

Pizza? Try yourself a fat slice for 3.50 see and taste the quality for yourself. Family run.. a real mom and pop. Workers call you by name when you walk in the door.
Is this a dream? Red hut is the real deal without draining your wallet. Go on try it.. you'll love it

Excellent Californian pizza, chock full of ingredients and generous in portions. The 4 of us ate 3 medium pizzas (about $18 per pizza), and at the end we even had a few slices left over. The guys are very kind and helpful, the environment is simple but very welcoming. Advised!
