A few small cons, but not enough to reduce my 5-star rating: 1) they were OUT OF BRISKET (delivery didn’t come through!); 2) $5 extra to make it a sandwich rather than a pile of meat; 3) bad country music (though I realize that’s an unrealistic complaint here). BUT: huge portion, tasty BBQ pulled chicken, some of the best cole slaw I’ve had, and very friendly and efficient service. It was way too empty for a Saturday evening. You should definitely go there.
Great atmosphere, the good old days theme really suits the place, if that just pictured a rundown dirty hole in wall you couldn't be more wrong. The place is spotless and you can really tell the staff love their jobs. The service is just as great as the food, fresh, presented well and full of care. If you are in Susanvile or just passing by take a minute and visit this unique place because words can only describe so much.
Met with Dustin the owner earlier and absolutely loved the restaurant. Will be back to try the brisket. Definitely a gem of Susanville, with very cool decor and even a perfectly maintained pinball you must play and appreciate.
