This spot has always been my go to Chinese food place. I still drive 30 min to get there food , the chow mein is really good and there orange chicken. They have decent prices for 2 plates it'll be around $22. Plenty of sides to choose from and their fridges have many options of drinks. But don't forget to ask for chili because they won't include it.

when ordering bbq pork was broccoli beef was plated and then removed to add the bbq pork. The employee refused to change plates even after explaining that the plate was ment for some one who is allergic to carrots which the broccoli beef had chunks of. Do not come here if you have any food restriction they WILL NOT ACCOMIDATE.Dietary restrictions: They will not accommodate if they make any mistakes they will use the same plate the allergen was added too and just pick out the allergen instead of remaking the plate.

Food not great. Wonton soup was overseasoned with pepper, and first time I've seen it with imitation crab, certainly not traditional. Fried rice was short on veggies, it was mostly rice. Orange chicken too dry (maybe overfried). Noodles were ok. Cashier handled the cash, but unfortunately, also the food! I've been to many Chinese restaurants over the years (with different styles of cooking : Cantonese, Mandarin, Szechuan, this one was disappointing, even for fast food! First time and last time we go there! Several reviewers gave this place high ratings, looks like they have not been to any other Chinese restaurants to compare and also used to bad food!

I've been coming here for years! Hasn't changed still to me, one of the best Chinese food in the valley!
They are very rude , unsanitary, and cheap!!! We have been loyal customers for over 20 years, I have ordered takeout, delivered, and dined it when they had tables available before COVID and yet they still haven’t made any changes or renovations to anything. Same staff has been there for years and even the same menu and cups have been sitting there with dust. Everytime me and my family would get food there they would always serve very little food and not give us any Sauce when we would ask they would want to charge us. There vegetables are never fresh and the chicken overall tastes questionable and chewy, and overall the orange chicken is never really chicken just what surrounds it. Purposely they don’t give enough sauce when you order egg rolls or big amounts of food. Very cheap and dirty people seems like the place is never cleaned either. I suggest you don’t eat here, Will not be coming back, anyone who comes here should be aware of how sanitary and cheap the place and the employees are.Parking: Parking is horrible and very small.

I had a very bad experience with this place nothing personal. Just I ordered my food plate through Ubereats and I was hungry when I tried the food ? tasted like fish ? there was not a single item that should have tasted or smelled like fish it’s a disgrace. No more orders from them.

China Express in Sylmar is ? I order chow mein, Orange Chicken , beef and broccoli. The chow main was all chopped up not one whole noddle and it tasted stale. The Orange Chicken was over cooked crunchy and didn’t taste like orange chicken. Finally the beef and broccoli was over powered with salt. I called the restaurant to inform them and all they told me was everything is made fresh and they will look into it.I throw my food straight in the trash and went to the China Express is Santa Clarita!!! you will not be disappointed its fresh and the orange chicken is delicious! check the reviews.
