Really good white menudo. Usually they only have red at other restaurants and came here and was excited for the white .

This place is a hidden gem in Sylmar , we never knew it was there and and we went in one day based on a recommendation from a friend who doesn't even live in the Valley and we've been going once a week for a year now! highly recommend . Nice ambience, delicious food , the tacos dorado are our favorite and the service is fantastic ! Everyone is so nice and friendly

Food is absolutely delicious, from breakfast to dinner. Menudo Sunday just hits different. But, you can get any dish at anytime. Staff members are just the sweetest of people. They come check on you on the right time.

Picked up various dished for 11 people for Office Lunch birthday party. My Fish Taco's were rubbery, with 2 drops of sauce and 3 slivers of cabbage. No flavor at all. My co-workers steak and shrimp, the shrimp was unpeeled, no flavor. Other Co-worker had chicken taco's. Only item on the taco was chicken, no other topping and again very bland. Even the tub of salsa was bland.will never return

I've been going to El Tarasco for over a decade, so this review is way over due! Their authentic Mexican dishes are fantastic. My absolute favorite is the mole enchiladas, and on weekends, they serve the best menudo. The cocktails are delicious, but what makes it even better is knowing it's a family-owned business - you can truly feel their passion for the restaurant. And oh, their desserts are heavenly, especially their housemade flan!
