I was really disappointed. I did a bunch of research and was so excited to try the tacos here. I ordered two asada tacos and first of all, they were cold. Secondly, the meat and salsa had no flavor. My uncle told me this place was overrated and I didn’t believe him but after trying it myself, he was right.

The moment I opened the door, I was greeted with hospitality and great service. Just had their Asada quesadilla, and it was delicious! I will definitely be back to sample their other dishes and I would suggest this to a friend.

Went to the swap meet down the way. Asked my son to find a place for lunch and he selected Tacos El Vampiro.
As soon as we entered, we were greeted. The lady taking our order was very friendly and answered all of my specific answers eg, is this place good? how large are the tacos? (I was trying to be funny, she did laugh)
Well she recommended Vampiros for me. I told her that I did not receive it, she asked the staff, to find out my wife had already eaten it without me knowing. We had 10 asada tacos, 3 cabeza, 3 lengua. 3 horchata.
Something must have happened because I ordered 10 more asada tacos, two chicken tacos, two more asada tacos, then two more Cabeza tacos, then one more chicken taco, and two more Vampiro tacos.
This was all for four people. Then I ordered 8 more to go.
Salsa was terrific. Pickled onions, has habanero in it, and I can't handle habanero. However this was so good that I did eat it. The jalapenos an onions were grilled. They were awesome. We noticed one of the kitchen staff was actually peeling onions so we knew the onions were very good and fresh not like the pre-sliced and pre-chopped onions. These were freshly peeled and sliced. I had to say that the rice was the topping of the cake. It was perfect. My wife is Mexican and this was better than hers and my wife makes great rice. I want to take the person that made the right back home with us. Lol.
The meat was very fresh tender delicious not filled with a bunch of junk meat that's full of fat.

The entire staff was bringing us food and they all thanked me they were all polite to all the other patrons. They appear to really appreciated their customers.
You people need to try this place that's how good it was I've been complimenting it all the way home and we live 45 minutes away in Ventura County. Don't worry about the one-star commenters. They don't know what they're talking about they were just butthurt. I left one star because they didn't get enough salsa or their napkins were not enough or something stupid that they dropped it all the way down to one star. These are the same people that are giving five stars to Walmart, 99 cent stores and other discount centers.
It's also has indoor outdoor dining however it is limited. So don't wait till rush hour to come in and eat because you're not going to find a place to sit or Park.

Our church group, consisting of adults, youths and children, were very hungry after volunteering at a local non-profit organization. Upon arrival, the owner was very nice, accommodating and generous towards our large group, even giving us a discount. We ordered 60 street tacos, a couple of quesadillas, a couple vampiro tacos, two large vampiro fries and about 10 large drinks. Everyone in our party left the restaurant happy and our stomachs full 😋.
